Abstract: A method for automated, or semi-automated, solar module support rail installation at a solar tracking system includes placing a first solar module support rail at a first location along a torque tube of the solar tracking system; using a robotic device to fixate the first solar module support rail at the first location along the torque tube; moving the robotic device to a second, different location along the torque tube; placing a second solar module support rail at the second, different location along the torque tube; and using the robotic device to fixate the second solar module support rail at the second location along the torque tube.

Abstract: A field configurable array of power processing blocks can include a plurality of power processing blocks configured to operate as DC/DC converters and/or DC/AC inverters. The field configurable array of power processing blocks can further include a controller configured to adjust the number of DC/DC converters and/or DC/AC converters. The controller can reconfigure the power processing blocks operating as a DC/DC converter such that the power processing blocks operate as a DC/AC converter and vice versa. In some embodiments, the controller of the field configurable array is configured to adjust connections between PV arrays, energy storage, and the grid to ensure maximum efficiency.

At least thirty percent of the storage capacity of the storage tank is positioned behind the attachment plate or quick attachment plate of the skid steer or track loader. The invention may include a hydraulic water pump which can be used to spray water from the storage tank to fight wildfires. The invention may include a hydraulic power generator. Abstract: Methods and systems for electrolyte regeneration are provided, which regenerate a spent alkaline electrolyte (SE) comprising dissolved aluminum hydrates from an aluminum-air battery, by electrolysis, to precipitate aluminum tri-hydroxide (ATH) and form regenerated alkaline electrolyte, and adding a same-cation salt to an anolyte used in the electrolysis to supplant a corresponding electrolyte cation. The regeneration may be carried out continuously and further comprise mixing the SE and the same-cation salt in a salt tank configured to deliver the anolyte, removing the regenerated alkaline electrolyte from a catholyte tank configured to deliver the catholyte, and filtering the ATH from a solution delivered from the salt tank to the anolyte. Optionally, the salt may be a buffering salt, and in some cases chemical reactions may be used to enhance the regeneration by electrolysis.

The rule may include criteria specifying servers to which the rule applies, as well as criteria for generating a domain name to associate with the server within a DNS record. The rule-based DNS resolution system can integrate with a hosting system providing the hosted server to obtain configuration information of the hosted server and generate DNS records in accordance with the rule. Rules may also be utilized to automate other aspects of the rule-based DNS resolution system, such as health checking and load balancing.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described to enable integrating operation of a service record system with operation of an automatically scaled service hosting system. The service hosting system can maintain a set of servers to provide a network-accessible service, and the service record system can maintain records identifying the set of servers as endpoints for the service. The service hosting system can further modify the number of servers within the set based, for example, on demand. When the service hosting system intends to remove a server from the set, it may notify the service record system. The service record system, in turn, can determine whether any valid records are predicted to exist that identify the to-be-removed server as an endpoint for the service. If such records are predicted to exist, removal of the server can be delayed until those records expire, to prevent errors resulting from client reliance on those records.

The floor is mounted to a scaffolding and can be moved reversibly by a water pump or a hydraulic actuator between a lowered state substantially parallel to a floor of the pool and a raised state that is substantially flat and horizontal at a level substantially even with a top edge of the pool or spa. One version uses water flow from an existing or conventional water pump to circulate water that impinges on a paddlewheel that, in turn, drives one or more vertically mounted screws. The screws provide the vertical motive force to the floor.
