  • Publication number: 20220188954
Abstract: An identity management platform comprises a cloud based API layer, an identity service and an ABIS biometric service. The identity service acts as a broker engine integrating travellers, operators, airports and governments, enabling the sharing of identities. The identity service manages travellers' identities and enrols travellers, receiving biometric information and assigning unique identifiers to travellers. A biometric service communicates with the identity service and receives biometric data such as facial data from a traveller's identity document. They also receive biometric data which is supplied by the traveller, for example by taking a photograph at the airport. The ABIS matches the two sets of biometric data and, if the match is successful, associates the unique ID generated for the traveller with the biometric data captured by the traveller.

  • Patent number: 11363117
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for modifying an application-level configuration of a cluster of virtual application servers in response to an automatic provisioning of server instances to or from the cluster. An auto-scaling service receives an indication that one or more metrics associated with a cluster in a service provider environment triggers a specified scaling condition. The cluster includes application server instances executing one or more services provided by an application. The auto-scaling service provisions an additional application server instance in response to the indication. One or more services provided by the application are installed on the additional application server instance. A configuration engine obtains one or more scripts for configuring the additional application server instance to execute the services as part of the cluster. The scripts are executed on the application server instances to include the additional application server instance to the cluster.

  • Publication number: 20220165049
Abstract: Video camera or video camera module, comprising an RGB image sensor, a computer processor adapted to perform pre-processing followed by video compression, and a dazzle detector, characterised in responding to dazzle in one colour channel by reducing values in that colour channel prior to compressing the video data. This has the advantage that in the event of laser dazzle that is specific to a colour channel, the compressed video data generated will retain more detail from the other colour channels compared to a conventional camera.

  • Publication number: 20220155354
Abstract: A utility meter includes a consumption measurement unit for generating consumption data, a meter processor, and a RTC for time stamping the consumption data to provide interval meter data during interval meter operation. A memory stores the interval meter data. The meter processor implements/initiates responsive to a power loss that suspends RTC operation, switching from interval to relative time operation where consumption data is stored as relative consumption data together with a relative time as relative meter data. Responsive power restoration and receiving a current time, the meter switches from relative time to interval meter operation. The restoration time is calculated using the current and an elapsed time since the restoration. The time of restoration and current time is used to generate calculated times. The consumption data from relative time operation is time stamped with the calculated times to provide time-corrected relative meter data that is stored to the memory.

  • Patent number: 11336050
Abstract: A sensor apparatus for wellbore applications includes an electrical conductor extending within an armored tubular jacket to protect the electrical conductor. The electrical conductor is isolated from wellbore fluids when the sensor is placed in a wellhead flange by redundant seals such that the tubular jacket around the conductor does not provide a leak path to the surrounding subsea or surface environment. To isolate the electrical conductor, a connector housing may be provided that establishes a glass-metal seal or a PEEK-metal seal with the electrical conductor. The connector housing may be welded or otherwise sealed to a Christmas tree flange that connects to the wellhead flange. The welds and seals of the sensor apparatus may be proof tested to ensure their effectiveness before the Christmas tree flange is installed in the subsea or surface environment.

  • Patent number: 11328467
Abstract: Systems and methods for reducing pose space dimensionality. A plurality of example poses can define an input pose space. Each of the example poses can include a set of joint rotations for a virtual character. The joint rotations can be expressed with a singularity-free mathematical representation. The plurality of example poses can then be clustered into one or more clusters. A representative pose can be determined for each cluster. An output pose space with a reduced dimensionality, as compared to the input pose space, can then be provided.

  • Publication number: 20220121502
Abstract: A system can be configured to automatically deploy clusters of clusterable services. For example, controller can deploy a plurality of copies of an application, and these applications can interdepend on each other. The controller can also configure a scheduler to manage (which may include load balancing) these applications. A service template used by the controller can include clustering rules, and these clustering rules can tell the controller how to connect those services. The clustering rules can be a set of logic instructions and/or templates that provide for the deployment of a service to a plurality of resources. Coupling instructions in the clustering rules define the coordination and interaction of separately booked physical and/or virtual resources and set up dependencies. The clustering rules define the use of information to scale up or scale down resources being used by a service.

  • Publication number: 20220122009
Abstract: Systems and methods of the present disclosure enable determining and preventing risk of human injury. Raw sensor data is received via sensors including one motion-related measurements of motion of the user. An aggregate motion value associated with a motion is determined based on a subset of the raw sensor data. A risk metric is determined based on the aggregate motion value. A dynamic risk metric is determined based on a risk metric history and the risk metric, where the dynamic risk metric is indicative of an injury risk associated with the user. A dynamic annoyance metric is determined based on a previous alert associated with the user, where the dynamic annoyance metric is indicative of an alert cadence and is customized based on user behavior. An alert is generated upon a determination that the dynamic risk metric has reached a predetermined threshold based on the dynamic annoyance metric.
