  • Publication number: 20200346808
Abstract: A tray gripper may be attached to a gripper arm of a tray sealing machine. For this purpose, the tray gripper is moved to a pre-assembly position by hooking the tray gripper onto the gripper arm. In addition, an eccentric is operated for exerting a clamping force upon the tray gripper that is disposed in the pre-assembly position, so that an attachment structure of the tray gripper is tensioned against an abutment structure of the gripper arm.

  • Patent number: 10780911
Abstract: A steering column includes a jacket tube with a clamping section with a slot extending longitudinally. A clamping collar has transversely opposed legs are interconnected via an arcuate section between which the clamping section of the jacket tube is at least partially accommodated. An actuating unit is arranged in the jacket tube, with a steering spindle rotatably mounted therein around the longitudinal axis. A clamp fixes the actuating unit longitudinally relative to the jacket tube and in a release position unclamps the clamping collar and frees the actuating unit longitudinally and presses the legs toward each other transversely to the longitudinal axis in the fixing position. Driver elements are arranged on the jacket tube in opposite edge regions of the slot, and the legs include contact elements which in the fixing position can be pressed against the outer sides of the driver elements.

  • Patent number: 10759463
Abstract: A clamping device may include clamping jaws that selectively clamp a steering column tube that is adjustable. A clamping pin may connect the clamping jaws. Rotation of the clamping pin in a closure direction causes the steering column tube to be clamped between the clamping jaws, and rotation of the clamping pin in an opening direction releases the clamping jaws for adjustment of the steering column tube. A damping member may be disposed on the clamping pin and connected to the clamping pin in a frictionally engaging or resilient manner. The damping member may comprise a stop tongue that protrudes radially from the clamping pin. When the clamping pin rotates in the opening direction, the stop tongue moves into abutment with the steering column tube and prevents rotation of the damping member so that the rotation of the clamping pin in the opening direction occurs counter to the friction force or resilient force and is damped.

  • Publication number: 20200156704
Abstract: A method and a device generate haptic feedback for a vehicle driver, the haptic feedback being generated by applying an additional torque, which alternates about an average total steering torque, to a steering grip of a vehicle by way of an actuator. When the present haptic feedback is recognized and/or simultaneously when haptic feedback occurs, the actuator is actuated such that the magnitude of the average total steering torque is increased by a compensation torque.

  • Patent number: 10611398
Abstract: A steering column may include an adjustment unit with a steering spindle mounted rotatably about its longitudinal axis in a casing tube, a support unit in which the adjustment unit is mounted so as to be adjustable along the longitudinal axis, and a stop device with a movably mounted stop element positionable in a blocking position and a release position. In the blocking position the stop element limits the adjustment travel of the adjustment unit relative to the support unit. In the release position, the stop element allows adjustability in the direction of the longitudinal axis beyond the adjustment travel limited in the blocking position. The stop device has an actuation body that has an inert mass, is actively connected to the stop element, and is mounted movably relative to the support unit. In a crash event, the mass inertia of the actuation body causes it to interact with the stop element to move the stop element from the blocking position into the release position.

  • Publication number: 20190226989
Abstract: An apparatus and methods for high-speed non-linear spectrally encoded multi-photon imaging that are particularly suited for use in two photon fluorescence and fluorescence lifetime imaging. The system is capable of optical image compression and scale invariant digital zoom. A wavelength agile laser with digitally synthesized electro-optic modulation in a master oscillator-power amplifier configuration is combined with spectral encoding to eliminate the speed limitations of inertial scanning. The technique for fast two photon fluorescent imaging with simultaneous lifetime imaging independently detects the location, amplitude and lifetime of fluorescent emission by synthesizing a sequential excitation beam via digital electro-optic modulation of a quasi-CW swept source followed by time encoded detection. For fluorescent imaging, spectral and temporal mappings are employed separately, with quasi-CW spectral encoding used for pumping and time encoding for constructing the image at fluorescence wavelength.
