  • Publication number: 20020018100
Abstract: An ink jet head includes a liquid chamber for containing ink formed in a first substrate, a diaphragm formed in the first substrate, an individual electrode formed on a second substrate, and an active element formed in the second substrate. The individual electrode is formed of a refractory metal and a compound thereof. The active element forms a driving circuit for driving said diaphragm. The diaphragm is deformable by electrostatic force generated between the diaphragm and the individual electrode and exerts restoring force of the diaphragm to pressurize the liquid chamber so that the ink is ejected from the ink jet head.

  • Publication number: 20020001018
Abstract: An ink jet head and a method of producing the same are disclosed. Use is made of a sufficiently thick single crystal at the time of anodic bonding, so that a vibration plate is free from deformation without resorting to any special short-circuit electrode.

  • Patent number: 6296587
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a flexible seamed endless belt having high strength and good smoothness, in which the seamed portion is as thick as the other part of the belt. The seamed endless belt is formed from a flexible belt-like member by joining its ends together. The belt-link member has end structures which can be engaged with each other such that the resulting seamed portion is unseparable in the advancing direction thereof. The seamed portion is covered with a cured film formed by curing a resin composition containing a curable resin. The curable resin may be a thermosetting resin and the cured film may be formed by heating the resin composition.

  • Patent number: 5046820
Abstract: An objective lens driving apparatus has a base provided with focusing permanent magnets and tracking permanent magnets, a supporting shaft mounted on the base, a lens holder for holding an objective lens at an extension thereof, with the lens holder being rotatably and slidably fitted onto the supporting shaft at a position of the center of gravity of the lens holder and being provided with focusing coils and tracking coils. A plurality of substantially identical elastic members are stretched between the base and the lens holder in a plane substantially perpendicular to the supporting shaft and in axisymmetrical relation with respect to Y-axis line joining the supporting shaft and the objective lens and X-axis line substantially perpendicular to the Y-axis. Each of the elastic members is a spring formed by a lead wire extending to the focusing and tracking coils. The springs are secured to the base through a fiscous elastic material.
