  • Patent number: 5153639
Abstract: A film supplying apparatus includes a holding member for holding the vicinity of leading end portions of strips of negative film placed therein in a superposed state with a longitudinal direction of the negative film set in a curved configuration, and a pressing device for pressing an innermost ones, as viewed in a curved state, of the strips of negative film against a feed roller via the holding member. Accordingly, as the feed roller is rotated in the negative film feeding direction, the strips of film starting with the innermost one, as viewed in the curved state, of the strips of negative film are consecutively fed to a printer. In this case, since a force acting in a direction in which the curved shape of the film is reduced is applied to the negative film being fed, no large friction occurs with respect to the remaining film.

  • Patent number: 5141714
Abstract: An exhaust gas cleaner comprising (a) at least one filter made of a heat-resistant and electrically insulating material for trapping floating fine particles in an exhaust gas; and (b) at least a pair of electrodes stacked with the filter alternately, voltage being applied between the adjacent electrodes to burn electrically conductive and burnable fine particles trapped in the filter by heat generated by a current flowing between the adjacent electrodes, and the direction of the flow of the exhaust gas in the filter being essentially parallel to that of the laminate surface of the electrodes. The filter may carry a catalyst which functions to reduce harmful gas components in the exhaust gas.

  • Patent number: 4996555
Abstract: A film carrier is provided with a film viewing window formed therein and a loop forming device between the film viewing window and a film exposing window. Prior to printing, a film is inspected through the film viewing window to input position and exposure correction data for each frame of the film. The film is adjusted automatically in position in the film exposing window according to the position correction data. At the film exposure window the inspected film is subjected by a scanner only to measuring (to find an exposure) and exposing. To print a half size of 135 film in place of a full size of 135 film, the film carrier is turned 90.degree., directing the half size of the frame in the same direction as the full size frame and placing the film viewing window on the side of an operator.
