  • Publication number: 20240053284
Abstract: A CT scanning system having an industrial robot with X-Ray source and detector assembly as a tool to perform CT scanning of geological formation samples and such assembly design. Configurable X-Ray beam collimators (both on source and detector side) and their design may be used, as well as an open collimator setup (the detector is fully exposed) for system motion registration. A narrow beam collimator setup may be used to mitigate scattering effects in order to achieve the required CT number uniformity and accuracy. Further, use of special attenuation blades mounted on the detector collimation unit in order to monitor and correct the overall acquisition gain and offset. Finally, a CT algorithm of reconstruction with integrated corrections for mitigating non-linearities of all kinds including but not limited to a scatter, beam hardening, detector saturation, lost “skin level”, detector and tube instabilities such as warming, wear and tear, after-glow.

  • Patent number: 11881977
Abstract: This application proposes multi-beam antenna systems using spherical lens with high isolation between antenna ports and compatible to 2×2, 4×4, 8×8 MIMO transceivers. Several compact multi-band multi-beam solutions (with wideband operation, 40%+, in each band) are achieved by creating dual-band radiators movable on the track around spherical lens and by placing of lower band radiators between spherical lenses. By using of secondary lens for high band radiators, coupling between low band and high band radiators is reduced. Beam tilt range and side lobe suppression are improved by special selection of phase shift and rotational angle of radiators. Resultantly, a wide beam tilt range (0-40 degree) is realized in proposed multi-beam antenna systems. Each beam can be individually tilted. Based on proposed single- and multi-lens antenna solutions, cell coverage improvements and stadium tribune coverage optimization are also achieved, together with interference reduction.

  • Patent number: 11882044
Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for managing computing resources for a remote session that has been established between a client and a remote server via a communication channel. Such a remote session is configured to automatically adapt image quality of the remote session based on a network status of the communication channel. The described technique includes detecting an inactive state of the remote session, and in turn, modifying at least one network setting of the client using a network shaping rule specified to artificially reduce a network quality of the communication channel used by the client for traffic of the remote session, so as to cause the client to reduce image quality of the remote session and reduce an amount of data exchanged between the remote server and the client.

  • Patent number: 11874920
Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and methods for preventing malicious injections. In one aspect, a method includes monitoring active processes that are running in suspended mode. For each active process being monitored, the method includes injecting a dynamic link library (DLL) into the active process to hook an application programming interface (API) of an application corresponding to the active process, wherein the DLL is injected for tracking commands for suspension and resumption of the active process. The method includes monitoring file inputs and outputs of the application for anomalies while the active process is in the suspended mode, and when a command for resuming the active process is detected using the DLL, determining, based on the monitoring, whether a malicious process is inserted into the active process. The method includes allowing the suspended process to resume execution in response to determining that no malicious process is inserted in the active process.

  • Patent number: 11861390
Abstract: A processing device in a host computer system receives an instruction to write data to a storage device coupled to the host computer system and store a copy of the data in a cache of the host computer system. The processing device initiates a write operation to write the data from the cache to the storage device and detects that the storage device is disconnected from the host computer system during execution of the write operation. In response to detecting that the storage device is disconnected, the processing device may suspend execution of at least one of a virtual machine or a process that issued the first instruction. After determining that the storage device is reconnected to the host computer system, the processing device can resume the write operation to continue writing the data from the cache to the storage device.
