  • Publication number: 20080238318
Abstract: Photosensitive paste compositions, barrier ribs of plasma display panels (PDPs) prepared using the same, and PDPs including the barrier ribs are provided. The photosensitive paste composition includes an organic-inorganic complex sol and an inorganic material, wherein the average refractive index (N1) of the organic-inorganic complex sol and the average refractive index (N2) of the inorganic material satisfy the equation ?0.2?N1?N2?0.2. Using the photosensitive paste composition, patterned barrier ribs for PDPs having high resolution and high precision can be made by exposure to light only once. Barrier ribs having higher reflective indices than conventional barrier ribs can also be obtained.

  • Publication number: 20080164462
Abstract: A light emitting device includes: a first substrate; a second substrate; a light emitting unit interposed between the first substrate and the second substrate; and a sealing material bonding the first substrate to the second substrate and sealing the light emitting unit. The sealing material comprises V+4. In addition, a glass frit, a composition for forming a sealing material, and a method of manufacturing a light emitting device using the composition for forming a sealing material are provided to obtain the light emitting device. The sealing material of the light emitting device can be easily formed by coating and irradiation of electro-magnetic waves, so that manufacturing costs are low and deterioration of the light emitting unit occurring when sealing material is formed can be substantially prevented. The sealing material has good sealing properties and thus a light emitting device including the sealing material has a long lifetime.

  • Publication number: 20080138653
Abstract: Disclosed is a method of manufacturing the organic light emitting display apparatus. The method includes preparing a substrate and placing a mask over the substrate. A frit paste composition is disposed on the mask which has a patterned opening. The frit paste composition is pressed to land on the substrate to form a frit paste structure. The frit paste structure is pre-sintered. Another substrate on which an array of pixels is formed is arranged to oppose the substrate on which the frit structure is formed, and then the substrates are coupled with the frit structure.

  • Publication number: 20080131459
Abstract: The present invention relates to a novel full-length infectious cDNA clone for Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome Virus (PRRSV), derivatives therefrom and uses thereof Particularly, the present invention relates to a full-length PRRSV genomic RNA represented by SEQ. ID. No 27 and the genetically stable full-length infectious PRRSV cDNA clone thereof. The PRRSV genomic RNA and infectious PRRSV cDNA clone of the present invention can be used not only for the identification of the PRRSV viral genes, but also for the molecular biological studies including viral replication, transcription and translation. Moreover, it can also be applied to the development of the therapeutic agents, vaccines, diagnostic reagents and diagnostic devices for porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome and can be used as a novel expression vector for a variety of heterologous genes of interest.

  • Patent number: 6487054
Abstract: A head drum apparatus comprises: a lower drum; a stationary shaft pressed and fitted into a center hole of the lower drum; an upper drum rotatably coupled to the stationary shaft via at least one bearing; a boss fixed to the top portion of the stationary shaft by means of a set-screw; a motor rotor mounted to the top surface of the upper drum; a motor stator fixed to the boss, the motor stator being opposite to the motor rotor; and a ground device. The ground device includes an anchor member anchored to the upper surface of the boss and an elastic member fixed to the bottom surface of the anchor member. The elastic member extends downwardly through a bore in the boss, and a ground member is fixed to tile lower end of the elastic member. The ground member is in elastic contact with an outer race of an upper bearing.
