Abstract: A method of controlling a mobile terminal, and which includes controlling, via a Windows processor, a plurality of peripheral devices of the mobile terminal; switching, via the Windows processor, the mobile terminal into a sleep state; granting, via an arbiter control processor, a control authority for controlling predetermined peripheral devices among the plurality of peripheral device to a 3G modem when the mobile terminal is switched into the sleep state; receiving, via a communication unit on the mobile terminal, an incoming call; and managing, via the 3G modem, circuit data and the predetermined peripheral devices for the incoming call.

Abstract: Provided are a touch-screen based device identification and information provision method and apparatus, and computer-readable recording mediums having recorded thereon programs for executing the touch-screen based device identification method and the information provision method. The device identification method for a touch screen device includes propagating a signal induced by touching a touch screen surface to an external device via the person, receiving information about the signal detected by the external device and an identification (ID) of the external device through a communication channel, and identifying the external device by using the received information about the detected signal and the received ID of the external device. Thus, the touch screen device and the external device can be connected to each other in real time by a simple and physical touch.

Abstract: Provided are a band stop filter of a CRLH structure and a manufacturing method thereof. A band stop filter of a CRLH structure according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes a microstrip transmission line formed on a substrate; a right handed material (RHM) region including a first stub and a first capacitor connected to the microstrip transmission line in parallel and stopping a signal of a first frequency band passing through the microstrip transmission line; and a left handed material (LHM) region further provided between the first stub and the first capacitor to block a signal of a second frequency band passing through the microstrip transmission line.

Abstract: Disclosed therein is a method for preparing a polyacrylonitrile-based polymer for preparation of carbon fiber having a melting point controlled by selecting an optimal energy of microwave, and a method for preparing a carbon fiber through melt spinning using the preparation method for polyacrylonitrile-based polymer. The present invention uses microwave to control the properties of the polyacrylonitrile-based polymer in a simplified way and prepare the polymer optimized for preparation of carbon fiber precursor through melt spinning for a short polymerization time, and provides a means for mass production of the polyacrylonitrile-based polymer being suitable for melt spinning at a temperature lower than the stabilization temperature and acquiring properties adequate to preparation of carbon fiber through stabilization. Hence, the present invention is expected to contribute to mass production of high-performance carbon fibers at reduced cost.

Whenever the user responds within a prescribed period of time via a voice command (VC), the system attempts to recognize the VC. Whenever the VC is successfully recognized, the system responds appropriately to the VC.

Abstract: A printing medium alignment device and an image forming apparatus having the same, the image forming apparatus includes a printing medium supply unit to supply a printing medium, a printing unit to print an image on the printing medium supplied from the printing medium supply unit, and a printing medium alignment device to align the printing medium fed toward the printing unit. The printing medium alignment device includes: a register roller; an idle roller to form a nip with the register roller, to feed the printing medium to the printing unit; a register to move to a first position to block the printing medium from entering the nip, to align the printing medium, and to move to a second position to allow the printing medium to enter the nip; and a shutter roller mounted in the register shutter. When the register shutter is in the second position, the shutter roller rolls while in contact with the printing medium, to decrease a friction between the printing medium and the register shutter.
