Abstract: An article hanger having a frame made from formed wire elements defining a bottom wall to support an article and a peripheral wall projecting upwardly from the bottom wall, with the bottom wall and peripheral wall cooperatively defining an upwardly opening receptacle for an article. The frame has a front and rear, a top and bottom, and laterally spaced sides. The receptacle has a width between the sides of the frame. The frame has laterally spaced first and second sections, each defining a part of the bottom wall and the peripheral wall. The first and second frame sections are relatively repositionable between a) a first relative position wherein the receptacle has a first width and b) a second relative position wherein the receptacle has a second width that is different than the first width.

Abstract: A display stand having a first shelf for an article to be displayed, a first base for supporting the first shelf in a display position relative to a support for the display stand with the first shelf and first base having a combined vertical plan outline, a second shelf for an article to be displayed, and first structure cooperating between the second shelf and at least one of the first shelf and first base for guiding repositioning of the second shelf relative to the at least one of the first shelf and first base between a) a first position wherein a substantial portion of the second shelf resides outside of the combined vertical plan outline of the first shelf and first base, and b) a second position wherein the second shelf resides substantially entirely within the combined vertical plan outline of the first shelf and first base.

Abstract: A stand for supporting articles in an elevated position on a subjacent surface, which stand has a shelf with a support surface for an article, a base, and first structure cooperating between the base and shelf for allowing selective placement of the base and shelf in a) an operative state wherein the shelf is stably supported on the base so that the support surface is in an elevated position relative to a subjacent surface on which the base is placed, and b) a disassembled state wherein at least a part of the shelf is separated from the base. The first structure allows the shelf and base to be releasably maintained in a predetermined relative position in the operative state without the need for separate fasteners.

Abstract: An article hanger having a frame defining a support for an article, with the support facing upwardly with the article hanger in a display state/orientation. First structure is provided for connecting the frame to an upright support. The first structure includes a bracket and second structure cooperating between the bracket and frame for selectively placing the frame and bracket in a) a first relative position wherein the frame and bracket cooperatively define a U shape with a first width for straddling an upright support to maintain the article hanger in the display orientation and b) a second relative position wherein the frame and bracket cooperatively define a U shape with a second width for straddling an upright support to maintain the article hanger in the display orientation. The first and second widths are different.

Abstract: A railing hanger is provided for hanging a plant from a deck rail. The railing hanger has a pair of substantially parallel planar brackets each including a pair of integral oppositely opening hooks. An upwardly opening hook on one bracket is joined with an upwardly opening hook on the other bracket by a plurality of transverse U-shaped stiffeners. The brackets and the stiffeners collectively define an upwardly opening container for receiving a plant. A downwardly opening hook on each bracket is selectively self connecting to the top of the railing and resists movement of the container laterally away from the rail. In an installed position, the container is spaced laterally from the railing and the bottom wall of the container is substantially horizontal. A rearwardly extending leg on the railing hanger prohibits movement of the container toward the rail.

Abstract: A system and method for packaging a plurality of sections of bed dividers which form a boundary between adjacent landscaping areas. Each section includes an elongated divider structure having an enlarged upper portion and a flange portion extending lengthwise along the upper portion and depending downwardly therefrom for insertion in the ground. A plurality of the bed divider sections are arranged in an elongated stack of juxtaposed sections. Another of the bed divider sections is arranged lengthwise along at least one side of the stack in such a manner that its flange portion is generally perpendicular to the flange portions of the plurality of bed divider sections in the stack. All of the bed divider sections are held in this arrangement whereby the stack of bed divider sections rigidify the package in one transverse direction, and the side bed divider section rigidifies the package in the opposite transverse direction.
