  • Publication number: 20240143945
Abstract: Embodiments described herein provide a cross-lingual intent classification model that predicts in multiple languages without the need of training data in all the multiple languages. For example, data requirement for training can be reduced to just one utterance per intent label. Specifically, when an utterance is fed to the intent classification model, the model checks whether the utterance is similar to any of the example utterances provided for each intent. If any such utterance(s) are found, the model returns the specified intent, otherwise, it returns out of domain (OOD).

  • Publication number: 20240143593
Abstract: Systems, methods, and other embodiments associated with a dynamic cache manager are described. In one embodiment, a method includes monitoring, by the cache manager, queries that are submitted for execution to a database system. For a given monitored query, parsing the monitored query to identify one or more query heuristics and determine whether the one or more query heuristics matches one or more trigger heuristics from a set of query predictions, wherein the set of query predictions are predicted by a machine learning model. The cache manager prefetches query results corresponding to a predicted query pattern and stores the prefetched query results in a cache.

  • Publication number: 20240132882
Abstract: Programmable guide RNAs (gRNAs) play a central role in the CRISPR revolution sweeping biology and medicine by directing the function of a Cas protein effector to a target gene of choice. To achieve programmable control over regulatory scope, the activity of a conditional guide RNA (cgRNA) depends on the presence or absence of an RNA trigger, allowing for cell-selective regulation of CRISPR/Cas function. Unlike a standard gRNA, a cgRNA is programmable at multiple levels, with the target-binding sequence controlling the target of Cas activity (edit, silence, induce, or bind a gene of choice) and the triggerbinding sequence controlling the scope of Cas activity. cgRNA mechanisms that are allosteric allow for independent design of the target and trigger sequences, providing the flexibility to select the regulatory target and scope independently.

  • Publication number: 20240126729
Abstract: JSON Duality Views are object views that return JDV objects. JDV objects are virtual because they are not stored in a database as JSON objects. Rather, JDV objects are stored in shredded form across tables and table attributes (e.g. columns) and returned by a DBMS in response to database commands that request a JDV object from a JSON Duality View. Through JSON Duality Views, changes to the state of a JDV object may be specified at the level of a JDV object. JDV objects are updated in a database using optimistic lock.
