  • Patent number: 12261961
Abstract: Blockchain systems operate over a network of computing devices. Proof of space blockchain consensus systems utilize data stored in storage devices across the computing devices within the network. These storage devices are utilized to generate and store proof of space consensus data. This data is then accessed at a later time to respond to challenges issued across the blockchain network. In order to limit successful submissions of these challenge responses, one or more filters are utilized. These filters result in only a fraction of the stored data on a storage device to be useable for solving the blockchain challenge. Attackers may attempt to circumvent this filter to increase their odds of submitting an approved solution to the blockchain challenge. In order to address this, additional data structures are stored within the storage device and are registered at the time of creation on the blockchain to make these filters more robust.

  • Publication number: 20250090155
Abstract: A suture retention device includes a housing having one or more suture slots. The device also includes a plunger with suture slots. The plunger is slidably disposed in a channel in the housing and when the housing suture slots are aligned with the plunger suture slots, a suture filament may be disposed in the slots. When the plunger is actuated so that the housing suture slots are misaligned with the plunger suture slots, the suture filament is captured between the plunger and the housing preventing movement of the suture filament.

  • Publication number: 20250094412
Abstract: Techniques for providing a transactionally-consistent Hierarchical Navigable Small Worlds (HNSW) index are described. In one technique, a HNSW index for a plurality of vectors is stored. In response to receiving a set of changes to the plurality of vectors, storing the set of changes in a shared journal table instead of applying the set of changes to the HNSW index. in response to receiving a vector query that includes a query vector, a subset of the set of changes in the shared journal table is identified based on the query vector. Also, based on the query vector and the HNSW index, a subset of the plurality of vectors is identified. A result of the vector query is generated based on the subset of the set of changes and the subset of the plurality of vectors.

  • Publication number: 20250098177
Abstract: A disclosed non-volatile memory (NVM) structure is implemented in a fully depleted semiconductor-on-insulator technology processing platform and includes multiple NVM banks with NVM cells including transistors. NVM banks have well regions in a substrate. Transistors of NVM cells of each NVM bank are on an insulator layer above a corresponding well region for that bank. A bias control circuit causes well regions for NVM banks in a standby state to be biased with a reverse back biasing voltage and causes a well region for an NVM bank in an operational state to be biased with a forward back biasing voltage. The bias control circuit can initiate forward back biasing during a cache data retrieval process (before NVM bank access) to ensure that the corresponding well region of an NVM bank at issue is fully biased when, following the cache data retrieval process, access to the NVM bank is still required.
