  • Patent number: 10366471
Abstract: A method of de-mosaicing pixel data from an image processor includes generating a pixel block that includes a plurality of image pixels. The method also includes determining a first image gradient between a first set of pixels of the pixel block and a second image gradient between a second set of pixels of the pixel block. The method also includes determining a first adaptive threshold value based on intensity of a third set of pixels of the pixel block. The pixels of the third set of pixels are adjacent to one another. The method also includes filtering the pixel block in a vertical, horizontal, or neutral direction based on the first and second image gradients and the first adaptive threshold value utilizing a plurality of FIR filters to generate a plurality of component images.

  • Publication number: 20190228030
Abstract: The overall architecture and details of a scalable video fingerprinting and identification system that is robust with respect to many classes of video distortions is described. In this system, a fingerprint for a piece of multimedia content is composed of a number of compact signatures, along with traversal hash signatures and associated metadata. Numerical descriptors are generated for features found in a multimedia clip, signatures are generated from these descriptors, and a reference signature database is constructed from these signatures. Query signatures are also generated for a query multimedia clip. These query signatures are searched against the reference database using a fast similarity search procedure, to produce a candidate list of matching signatures. This candidate list is further analyzed to find the most likely reference matches. Signature correlation is performed between the likely reference matches and the query clip to improve detection accuracy.

  • Publication number: 20190224460
Abstract: A medical device includes a catheter, an expandable balloon on the distal portion of the catheter, and a sheath that is configured to enclose and protect the expandable balloon. The sheath extends within a sheath lumen of the catheter and out from the catheter through a distal opening of the sheath lumen. When in a deployed configuration, the sheath extends proximally to enclose at least a portion of the expandable balloon. The sheath may be axially movable within the sheath lumen of the catheter to actuate from the deployed configuration to a retracted configuration. In moving to the retracted configuration, the sheath may expose the outer surface of the expandable balloon.

  • Patent number: 10360905
Abstract: Audio distortion compensation methods to improve accuracy and efficiency of audio content identification are described. The method is also applicable to speech recognition. Methods to detect the interference from speakers and sources, and distortion to audio from environment and devices are discussed. Additional methods to detect distortion to the content after performing search and correlation are illustrated. The causes of actual distortion at each client are measured and registered and learnt to generate rules for determining likely distortion and interference sources. The learnt rules are applied at the client, and likely distortions that are detected are compensated or heavily distorted sections are ignored at audio level or signature and feature level based on compute resources available. Further methods to subtract the likely distortions in the query at both audio level and after processing at signature and feature level are described.

  • Patent number: 10361091
Abstract: A method for etching features into a porous low-k dielectric etch layer is provided. A plurality of cycles is performed in a plasma processing chamber. Each cycle comprises a deposition phase and an activation phase. The deposition phase comprises flowing a deposition gas comprising a fluorocarbon and/or hydrofluorocarbon gas, creating a plasma in the plasma processing chamber using the deposition gas, depositing a fluorocarbon or hydrofluorocarbon containing layer, and stopping the flow of the deposition gas. The activation phase comprises flowing an activation gas comprising a noble gas and a carbon etching additive, creating a plasma in the plasma processing chamber using the activation gas, providing an activation bias in the plasma processing chamber, wherein the activation bias causes the etching of the low-k dielectric layer, with consumption of the fluorocarbon or hydrofluorocarbon containing layer, and stopping the flow of the activation gas.

  • Patent number: 10339154
Abstract: Various embodiments of systems and methods for decentralized image management are described herein. The method includes generating, distributing, and retrieving images on peer-to-peer network. Request for generating an image is received. One or more components/layers of a to-be-generated image is identified. A layer is stored as a file. Files corresponding to the layers are packaged as an image file representing the image. The packaged image file and/or files of respective layers are distributed across the network, e.g., across a plurality of available nodes upon receiving a distribution command/request. When a request for retrieving the image is received, the nodes storing the one or more layers of the image are identified. The layers are retrieved from the identified one or more nodes. Using the retrieved one or more layers, the image is recreated/generated.
