    Abstract: Textured PMN-PZT fabricated by templated grain growth (TGG) method has a piezoelectric coefficient (d) of 3 to 5 times that of its random counterpart. By combining this TGG method with low-temperature co-firing ceramics (LTCC) techniques, co-fired multilayer textured piezoelectric ceramic materials with inner electrodes were produced at a temperature as low as 925° C., which silver could be used. Trilayer PMN-PZT ceramics prepared by this method show a strain increase of 2.5 times, a driving voltage decrease of 3 times, and an equivalent piezoelectric coefficient (d*) improvement of 10 to 15 times that of conventional random ceramic counterparts. Further, a co-fired magnetostrictive/piezoelectric/magnetostrictive laminate structure with silver inner electrode was also synthesized. The integration of textured piezoelectric microstructure with the cost-effective low-temperature co-fired layered structure achieves strong magnetoelectric coupling.

    Abstract: A search engine performs semantic analysis of unstructured search terms to generate relational database queries. By understanding the semantics, the search engine more effectively identifies and predicts what information the user is searching for and provides more in-depth user assistance. The search engine uses different ranking schemes to identify which data is most likely associated with search terms and provides both row level and object level data security. The search engine may identify ambiguous search requests and allows the user to select different join paths that create different mappings between the data. The search engine may generate worksheets containing the selected mappings.

A packet that is received from a network manager application and addressed to an underlay network destination is sent to the underlay network destination address through a physical NIC of the host without network address translation or encapsulation. A packet that is received from a tenant application and addressed to an underlay network destination is subject to SNAT and is sent to the underlay network destination address. A packet that is received from a tenant application and is addressed an overlay destination address is encapsulated with the header of the overlay network and is sent to the overlay network destination address through the underlay virtual adapter.

    Abstract: Engineered structures include materials in certain arrangement and proportions to make a composite that provides desired properties to a structure. The mechanical and physical properties of the materials are measured through expensive and time consuming mechanical testing, and structural design is carried out using these properties thus warranting more time and cost spent on physical testing. Embodiments of the present disclosure provide multi-scale modeling and simulation techniques (MSMST) for design of composite materials with desired macro-scale properties wherein the (lower) MSMST are interconnected and each can pass on corresponding desired outputs to higher length-scales, which in turn evaluate macro-scale physical and mechanical properties/either to scale up the structure simulation, or to fine tune computational materials parameters thereby predicting behaviour of the structure based on determined properties of composite materials of the structure.

During a sequence query, correlation scores are calculated for single frame, for frame sequence, and video clips, or for other objects or structures.
