A hold-fund request is generated by the funding source when the exchange request is approved by the funding source. The financial gaming passport associated with the server communicates that if a casino management system (CMS) issues a value to the mobile application disposed on the patron wireless device, then the financial gaming passport associated with the server certifies a casino reimbursement.

External and internal communications within the gaming network are segregated both at the device and network levels.
