  • Publication number: 20220277136
Abstract: Certain embodiments involve a template-based redesign of documents based on the contents of documents. For instance, a computing system selects a template for modifying an input document. To do so, the computing system uses a generative adversarial network to generate an interpolated layout image from an input layout image, which represents the input document, and a template layout image, which represents the selected template. The computing system matches the input element to an interpolated element from the interpolated layout image. The computing system generates an output document by, for example, modifying a layout of the input document to match the interpolated layout image, such as by fitting the input element into a shape of the interpolated element.

Abstract: Methods and systems are described for maintaining hygienic conditions in automatic teller machines by detecting whether or not a user is not in compliance with a hygienic standard. If a user is not in compliance, then the automatic teller machine may execute a hygienic action to cleanse the automatic teller machine. For example, the hygienic action may comprise automatically cleansing the automatic teller machine, disabling the automatic teller machine from service, transmitting a sanitation service request to an automatic teller machine provide, and/or initiating an alternative control scheme (e.g., voice controls, gesture-based controls, etc.) for the automatic teller machine.

  • Patent number: 11429172
Abstract: A power supply architecture combines the benefits of a traditional single stage power delivery, when there are no additional power losses in the integrated VR with low VID and low CPU losses of FIVR (fully integrated voltage regulator) and D-LVR (digital linear voltage regulator). The D-LVR is not in series with the main power flow, but in parallel. By placing the digital-LVR in parallel to a primary VR (e.g., motherboard VR), the CPU VID is lowered and the processor core power consumption is lowered. The power supply architecture reduces the guard band for input power supply level, thereby reducing the overall power consumption because the motherboard VR specifications can be relaxed, saving cost and power. The power supply architecture drastically increases the CPU performance at a small extra cost for the silicon and low complexity of tuning.

  • Publication number: 20220261287
Abstract: Systems and methods for improving the degree to which programs utilize processor resources during execution. A number of different versions of a program are received, as is a set of performance metrics describing desired performance of the program versions. The programs are then analyzed to determine the amount of processor resources used on a particular processor when the programs are executed to meet the performance metrics. At runtime, a program version that meets its performance metrics without exceeding the available processor resources is selected for execution by the processor. Program versions may be versions written to utilize processors in differing manner, such as by adjusting the numerical precision at which operations are performed or stored. If no program version meets its performance metrics without exceeding the available processor resources, the performance metrics may be reduced and program selection may be based on these reduced performance metrics.

  • Patent number: 11416444
Abstract: A method and system for replicating file system entities in a manner that preserves block-level access and file system efficiency mechanisms such as deduplication are disclosed. In an embodiment, a replication engine receives a stream of file system entities that include a file system inodes and file system data blocks. The replication engine generates object-based storage (OBS) objects based on data and reference information specified by the file system entities. As part of generating the OBS objects, the replication engine generates at least one inode file object that associates file block numbers of a file system inode file and the inode numbers. The replication engine uses inode information to generate reference objects that logically associate file block numbers with data block numbers in per inode manner. The replication engine further generates data objects that contains the file system data blocks and that associates the data blocks with corresponding data block numbers.

  • Publication number: 20220244815
Abstract: In some embodiments, a data visualization system detects insights from a dataset and computes insight scores for respective insights. The data visualization system further computes insight type scores, from the insight scores, for insight types in the detected insights. The data visualization system determines a selected insight type for the dataset having a higher insight type score than unselected insight types and determines, for the selected insight type, a set of selected insights that have higher insight scores than unselected insights. The data visualization system determines insight visualizations for the set of selected insights and generates, for inclusion in a user interface of the data visualization system, selectable interface elements configured for invoking an editing tool for updating the determined insight visualizations from the dataset. The selectable interface elements are arranged in the user interface according to the insight scores of the set of selected insights.
