  • Publication number: 20200083936
Abstract: A discrete-time delay (TD) technique in a baseband receiver array is disclosed for canceling wide modulated bandwidth spatial interference and reducing the Analog-to-Digital Conversion (ADC) dynamic range requirements. In particular, the discrete-time delay (TD) technique first aligns the interference using non-uniform sampled phases followed by uniform cancellation using a cancellation matrix, such as, for example, a Truncated Hadamard Transform implemented with antipodal binary coefficients.

  • Publication number: 20200081959
Abstract: A set of images is accessed from a server. The set is analyzed to identify objects in each image using object recognition algorithms. A primary image that includes more of the identified objects than any of the other images of the set is determined. For each of the identified objects in the primary image, a secondary image that includes the identified object and has a higher magnification than the primary image is determined. Links are inserted into the primary image at locations including an identified object that is also in a secondary image. The primary image is displayed and, upon receiving a selection of one of the links, the secondary image that includes the identified object at the location of the selected link is displayed. The set of images is ordered based on relative positions of the identified objects in each image and then linked together based on the ordering.

  • Publication number: 20200060641
Abstract: Described herein are a computer enhanced medical method and device for generating an asthmatic condition indication. The apparatus receives a lung signal from a stethoscope, the lung signal having been converted from an analog signal to a digital signal. Furthermore, circuitry included in the apparatus performs, inter alia, the following: displays a patient recording canvas corresponding to physical locations on a body of the patient, the canvas including an anterior patient orientation and a posterior patient orientation, generates a recording process, the recording process including recording, for a predetermined period of time, the detected lung signal, and associates the recording with a marked location. Furthermore, the circuitry merges the recorded lung signal from each marked location on the patent recording canvas as merged information, and applies processing to the merged information to generate the asthmatic condition indication.

  • Publication number: 20200051202
Abstract: Techniques are provided for optimizing display processing of layers below a dim layer by a display system. Because the dim layer may partially obstruct, conceal, or otherwise impact a user view of layers below the dim layer, resource-saving techniques may be used in the processing the layers below the dim layer. While these techniques may impact visual quality, a user is unlikely to notice visual artifacts or other reductions in quality in the modified layers below the dim layer. For example, when a dim layer is to be displayed, a GPU can render layers below the dim layer at a lower resolution. Furthermore, the GPU can increase a compression ratio for layers below the dim layer. The low-resolution layers can be scaled-up to an original resolution and the compressed layers can be uncompressed in the display pipeline for display underneath the dim layer.

  • Publication number: 20200053008
Abstract: A load balancer capable of instantiating a data plane within the load balancer, deleting the data plane from the load balancer, and/or enacting a change to the data plane. The load balancer instantiates a data plane for an identified tenant. The instantiated data plane is placed in a data path of network data transmitted from one or more sources to a plurality of tenant addresses that each corresponds to a different tenant or group of tenants. The instantiated data plane is also dedicated to the identified tenant such that the data plane isolates first network data destined to a first tenant address that corresponds to the identified tenant from second network data destined to one or more other tenant addresses. The load balancer also deletes the instantiated data plane from the load balancer, or enacts a change to the instantiated data plane.

  • Patent number: 10555165
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for use in reducing signal latency in a mobile network with use of localized Unified Data Management (UDM) entities are described. For example, the technique may employ a plurality of localized UDMs, where each localized UDM is associated with a unique location area. A localized UDM provides for storage of, in a localized Unified Data Repository (UDR), subscriber profile data associated with a subscriber of user equipment (UE). The subscriber profile data stored in the localized UDR may be a replica or copy of at least a subset of subscriber profile data for the subscriber stored in a UDR of a “centralized” UDM. Query access to the localized UDR may be provided for network functions (NFs) or subscriber/UEs. The replica or copy of subscriber profile data may be stored in the localized UDR for those subscribers having use in the location area.
