  • Patent number: 11381484
Abstract: A mobile communications device may determine whether to report information regarding operation of the mobile device on a mobile network. The determination may be based on a reporting parameter set by a network control device and received via a broadcast message from a radio access node. The mobile device may compare the value of the reporting parameter to a randomly generated number. Based on the comparison, the mobile device may determine whether or not to provide information regarding operation of the mobile device or the radio access node to the network control device. The network control device may adjust the value of the reporting parameter to control the likelihood that a mobile device will report.

  • Publication number: 20220170741
Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a process that formulates an inference that a first group of mobile devices are at ground level, and obtains, for the first group of mobile devices, positions and barometric pressure readings. Ground heights with respect to a common reference height are determined for the first group of mobile devices, and reference barometric pressures are calculated for the first group of mobile devices, at the common reference height according to the barometric pressure readings and the determined ground heights. At least a portion of the reference barometric pressures are combined to obtain a reference barometric pressure. Other embodiments are disclosed.

  • Patent number: 11341020
Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a method that includes detecting events relating to user equipment on a communication network, collecting first event data including event times and locations, and collecting second event data regarding second event dimensions determined at least in part by the event type. The method also includes generating, for each of the event types, an event data structure associated with the user, based on the first event data and second event data. The event data structures are concatenated to generate an event history flow associated with the user; the event history flow is analyzed to identify causal events for a detected event. The method also includes generating a model for performance of the user equipment based on the causal events to predict a future event, and identifying potential adjustments to the communication network to prevent that event. Other embodiments are disclosed.

  • Patent number: 11336959
Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, capturing first monitoring information associated with an audience that is viewing a presentation, determining an actual audience engagement level by performing pattern recognition on the first monitoring information, comparing the actual audience engagement level with an expected audience engagement level to generate an engagement score for the presentation, and transmitting, to a device, a haptic feedback according to the engagement score during the presenting of the presentation. Other embodiments are disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20220150695
Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, responsive to a first registration request to access a mobile network, determining whether a first phone number associated with a first IMSI assigned to a first SIM of a first mobile device matches a second phone number associated with a second IMSI assigned to a second SIM of a second mobile device, determining whether the second mobile device is currently registered to the mobile network, and, in turn, sending a request for authentication to register the first mobile device and to deregister the second mobile device, determining whether a response to the request for the authentication code matches an authentication code, and responsive to the determining the response matches the authentication code, registering the first mobile device to the mobile network and deregistering the second mobile device from the mobile network. Other embodiments are disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20220121658
Abstract: In one example, a processor receives a structured query, parses the structured query into components, and stores the structured query, the components, and at least one attribute regarding the structured query in a first query record of a query record storage platform, the at least one attribute comprising a user identification of a user generating the structured query. The processor may then receive a search associated with the query record storage platform, where the search includes at least one parameter, and where the at least one parameter specifies at least one of the structured query, at least one of the components, or at least one of the at least one attribute regarding the structured query, and return the first query record in response to the search.

  • Publication number: 20220124151
Abstract: In one example, a processor may receive a first request to process a first task, the first request including a first estimated central processing unit utilization for the first task and a first estimated memory utilization for the first task and receive central processing unit capacities and memory capacities of a plurality of sub-data routers including at least a first sub-data router. The processor may further determine that the first sub-data router has a lowest central processing unit capacity from among the plurality of sub-data routers that is sufficient to accommodate the first estimated central processing unit utilization for the first task and determine that the first sub-data router has a memory capacity that is sufficient to accommodate the first estimated memory utilization for the first task. The processor may then assign the first task to the first sub-data router.

  • Publication number: 20220086079
Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, embodiments and a method. The method includes iteratively receiving messages at each Node Processor. Each Node Processor represents a node of a group of nodes. The iteratively receiving of the messages comprises receiving first messages. Each first message includes a cost associated with a path of nodes visited by each first message. A selected path is obtained from each node having a lowest cost of a group of common endpoint costs for paths having common endpoints. A next group of messages includes the selected path. The iteratively receiving of the messages results in selected paths. Also, the method includes determining a target path from a remaining path. Other embodiments are disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20220078192
Abstract: A method includes receiving, at an access point, an access request from a first device after an expiration of a first passcode. The access request is encrypted based on the first passcode. The method includes making a determination by the access point before an expiration of a usage time of a first passcode usage list that an identifier of the first device is included in the first passcode usage list. The method also includes, in response to making the determination, generating, at the access point, data representing a second passcode by encrypting the second passcode using the first passcode; and sending the data representing the second passcode from the access point to the first device.

  • Publication number: 20220027594
Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, obtaining a first image of a random distribution of items overlaying an encoded region of an object identification tag affixed to an object, wherein the first image comprises a first pattern obtained according to a first image capture configuration. A second image of the random distribution of items is also obtained, wherein the second image comprises a second pattern obtained according to a second image capture configuration. First and second stored reference patterns are identified according to decoded information obtained from the encoded region of the object identification tag and the first and second patterns are compared to the first and second stored reference patterns to obtain a comparison result. • Publication number: 20220019368
Abstract: In one example, a processing system may identify a type of data contained in a first dataset that is to be stored in a storage array, wherein the storage array comprises a plurality of storage zones, and wherein the plurality of storage zones includes at least two different types of storage technologies. The processing system may generate a metadata file for the first dataset that contains self-describing information for the first dataset, wherein the metadata file is generated based on the type of the data, and wherein the self-describing information defines a manner, a time, and a location for storing the first dataset. The processing system may send the first dataset to a first storage zone of the plurality of storage zones, wherein the self-describing information includes an instruction to send the first dataset to the first storage zone for at least a defined period of time.
