  • Publication number: 20240280267
Abstract: A fire pit insert that is constructed to be shipped and sold in a disassembled state and then assembled by the end user is shown and described. The fire pit insert includes a plurality of wall panels that are removably coupled together to define a burn pit. A plurality of rim portions are attachable to the plurality of wall panels. The plurality of wall panels include an interior wall segment spaced apart from an exterior wall segment to define an interior in the plurality of wall panels that permit airflow there through during operation. The exterior wall segments have a first leg, a second leg, and a recessed portion located between the first and second legs to permit the fire pit insert to be self-supporting when assembled. The fire pit insert can be inserted into a surrounding enclosure.

  • Publication number: 20230184439
Abstract: A fire pit includes a wall panel that cooperates to define a lateral boundary of a burn chamber. The sidewall also defines an upwardly facing opening into the burn chamber. An ash catch is removably received in the fire pit through the upwardly facing opening and may be moved downwardly through the burn chamber to a resting location where the ash catch defines a lower boundary of the burn chamber. The wall panel has an exterior wall segment spaced apart from an interior wall segment to define a passageway there between. The wall panel has a lower opening through which air may flow up into the passageway. The interior wall segment includes a plurality of openings therein through with air may flow out of the passageway into the burn chamber to help fuel a fire in the burn chamber.

  • Publication number: 20220178545
Abstract: A fire pit that is constructed to be sold in a disassembled state is shown and described. In the disassembled state, the various components (as discussed herein) are in a relatively flat configuration and are configured to be assembled by the end user. In the disassembled state, the components contain relatively less void space between the components, in comparison to in the assembled state. In the disassembled state, the components may be packed into a relatively small packaging, compared to an amount of packaging that would be required to package the fire pit once it is assembled. Embodiments of the invention thus allow the packaging of a fire pit using less packaging than traditional fire pits and/or allow for a larger fire pit to be packaged in a similar amount of packaging.

  • Patent number: 8459488
Abstract: An organizer is provided. In one form, the organizer includes a storage container and at least one divider. The storage container has at least one outer wall and an opening defining an interior space. The at least one divider is sized to fit within the interior space. The at least one divider has a peripheral wall defining a storage space. An upper portion of the peripheral wall defines a divider opening. The at least one divider further includes at least one handle located adjacent the divider opening and extending inwardly towards the storage space.

  • Patent number: 7814843
Abstract: A folding work surface for mounting on a wall. The work surface includes a platform hinged to the wall. A pair of upper supports are pivotally connected to the platform and pivotally connected to a lower support. The lower support is then pivotally connected to the wall. A locking ring is positioned on each of the upper supports. A stop bracket is also included and has a base secured to the lower support and has a pair of locking tabs separately extending outwardly which extend along a portion of the upper supports. When the platform is in an opened position, the upper supports and the lower supports aligned to permit the locking rings to slide over the locking tabs securing the locking tabs against the upper supports and thereby locking the platform in the opened position.

  • Publication number: 20030075468
Abstract: The present invention relates generally to a storage container, and specifically to a tool box having increased impact and wear resistance. A tool box is provided having a lid hingedly affixed to a body having a bottom, front wall and a rear wall. A pair of end caps operably associated with the body recess the bottom of the body from the resting surface. In the preferred embodiment, the body is a unitary member and is constructed from a rigid metal such as steel, and the end caps are manufactured from an impact resistant material such as a thermoplastic. The body, the lid and end caps define an interior region. A compartmentalized tray is support within the interior region by a first resting surface and a second resting surface.

  • Patent number: 6415932
Abstract: The present invention relates generally to a gun barrel rest, and specifically to a gun barrel rest for supporting both scoped and non-scoped guns in an upright or vertical position. The gun barrel rest includes a front portion and a rear portion. The front portion include a plurality of concave-shaped gun barrel rest recesses into which the gun barrel is placed. An extender is provided for increasing the distance between the vertical wall and the gun. The extender includes a tongue and a extender recess. The tongue is adapted for insertion into any one of the gun barrel rest recesses, and is adapted to matingly engage the gun barrel rest. When the barrel of the gun is inserted into the extender recess, the gun is positioned at a greater distance from the vertical wall.
