  • Publication number: 20020109960
Abstract: A keyboard includes a keyboard body similar to a traditional keyboard. The keyboard body has an edge from which an additional portion extends. The portion has a top face on which an EL panel or a thin plate having patterns and/or figures printed thereon is placed. A transparent cover is openably attached to the portion for covering the top face and thus housing the EL panel or the thin plate. The cover may be hinged to the portion whereby it is movable between a closed position and an open position. Alternatively, the cover is releasably attached to the portion whereby the cover can be removed for replacing a new EL panel or a new thin plate having different patterns printed thereon. The EL panel or the printed thin plate serves the purpose of decoration and enhances the appeal of the keyboard to the general consumers.

  • Patent number: 5715531
Abstract: A synchronous tracking filter circuit for use in a broadcast satellite tuner that comprises four varactors and a strip-shaped inductor plate or pcb-printed strip line which produces a resonant frequency. The circuit is used in a doubly tuned resonant circuit to incorporate the tracking with the frequency changes of a voltage controlled oscillator (VCO) synchronously. The circuit can also control the image interference. This type of design is applicable in the tuner of an indoor broadcast satellite receiver unit to act as the synchronous tracking filter of input frequencies.

  • Patent number: 4766675
Abstract: An angle measuring instrument comprises, a multi-sided plate member which includes a first side and a second side that form an acute angle therebetween when they intersect, a third straight side that forms with the second side an obtuse angle when they intersect, and a graduated semi-circular region. A first measuring arm is pivoted to the plate member at the center of the semi-circular region, a second measuring arm is pivoted to the plate member at a point near the acute angle outside the circular region, and a third measuring arm is pivoted to the first and second measuring arms to form a parallelogram linkage with the plate. The second, and third sides of the plate member serve as measuring sides in cooperation with the measuring arms, thereby diversifying the application of the instrument.
