    Abstract: A process of fulfilling a database deployment request for a data platform. A compute service manager of the data platform scans one or more accounts of a consumer region of the data platform for a pending listing fulfillment request, where the pending listing request includes a request for deployment of a consumer database and an associated share of grant metadata of the consumer database within the consumer region. When the compute service manager determines that an account of the one or more accounts has a pending listing fulfillment request, the compute service manager determines a listing for the pending listing fulfillment request based on listing data of the account. The compute service manager determines that no other fulfillment task is scheduled for the pending listing fulfillment request and schedules a background fulfillment task to perform the fulfillment process for the pending listing fulfillment request.

    Abstract: Techniques for processing data involve receiving an access request for a logical block used for storing data, the access request including a logical block address for the logical block. Such techniques further involve determining, if it is determined that the logical block address is in a used address space, an index entry corresponding to the logical block address from index entries, the index entry indicating arrangements of logical blocks on a corresponding pool stripe, wherein the pool stripe includes disk blocks from disks in a disk pool, and data blocks form at least one data stripe for a disk array. Such techniques further involve determining a target block corresponding to the logical block based on the index entry. Such techniques further involve processing the access request by using the target block. Accordingly, the processing speed of sequential I/O operations is improved, time is saved, and user experience is improved.

    Abstract: The ability to scale data can provide numerous advantages, especially with regard to agricultural information. For example, agroecosystems include land and data associated with the land, such as physical traits and information. This can include, for example, information related to the soil, crops, other vegetation, and other information related to the land. In order to be able to quickly and accurately know such information and traits, ground truth data can be scaled using aerial and/or satellite imagery. Models and other machine learning can utilize ground truth data to scale limited field area data (e.g., 0.1-1 km) and accurately apply the same to large swaths of land (e.g., >100 km2) with accuracy for the field traits and/or characteristics.

    Abstract: A resource recovery system for reducing carbon dioxide emissions is revealed. Salt is delivered to a first plasma decomposition unit and decomposed into sodium and chlorine. The sodium is sent to a hydrolysis unit and mixed with water to get pure hydrogen and sodium hydroxide which are respectively sent to a power generation unit for power generation and a carbon dioxide absorption unit to react with carbon dioxide from air and produce a mixture of sodium carbonate and sodium bicarbonate. Then the mixture is delivered to an electric heating unit and broken into carbon dioxide and sodium hydroxide. The carbon dioxide is sent to a second plasma decomposition unit and decomposed into carbon and oxygen gas which is delivered to the power generation unit for generating power. Thereby catalysts, power required, and coproducts are obtained during operation of the system. Therefore, the system offers energy, environmental, and economic benefits.

    Abstract: A method of manufacturing an array of magnetic random access memory cells includes writing to a magnetic random access memory cell. The writing to a memory cell includes determining an optimum write current for the array of memory cells, and applying the optimum write current to a first memory cell in the array. A first read current is applied to the first memory cell to determine whether a magnetic orientation of the first memory cell has changed in response to applying the optimum write current. A second write current is applied to the first memory cell when the magnetic orientation of the first memory cell has not changed. The second write current is different from the optimum write current. A second read current is applied to the first memory cell to determine whether the magnetic orientation of the first memory cell changed in response to applying the second write current.

    Abstract: Disclosed are an underground displacement three-dimensional measurement system and method based on a double mutual inductance voltage contour. The system comprises an on-site measuring device and a remote monitoring system. The on-site measuring device is mainly formed by serially connecting N sensing units and an underground displacement information lumping unit by means of a power line and a communication line. The N sensing units are serially connected, and then are connected between an underground immovable layer and the ground. Each sensing unit comprises a PVC sleeve, a cylindrical air-core coil, a cylindrical magnetic core coil, and a PCB. Two adjacent sensing units form a measurement unit, and relative horizontal displacement and relative vertical displacement are measured by means of cooperation between the cylindrical air-core coil and the cylindrical magnetic core coil of a relative reference unit and the cylindrical air-core coil of the relative displacement unit.
