    Abstract: Display backlight structures may provide backlight illumination that passes through display layers in the display. Light-emitting diodes may emit blue light into an edge of a light guide plate. Optical films may overlap the light guide plate. The optical films may include a quantum dot enhancement film. A peripheral strip of yellow reflector or other light control structures may be incorporated into the backlight structures to reduce blue edge effects. The light control structures may have features with a spatially varying density, may be formed from quantum dot enhancement film, or may be formed form other structures. The light control structures may be formed on the surfaces of the optical films, on a reflective layer under the light guide plate, or on a surface of a mold frame or other structure that lies in a plane parallel to the plane of the light guide plate.

The mount has an accommodation space and at least one partition member to divide the accommodation space into a plurality of separate cavities. The LED chips are placed in the cavities, and emitting beams of the LED chips exiting through the cavities include a first emission with a first wavelength band and a second emission with a second wavelength band, and the second wavelength band is different to the first one. The first and the second sealants are respectively used for sealing at least one of the LED chips placed in at least one of the cavities through which the first or the second emission exits. The first and the second sealants are separate from each other by the partition member.

    Abstract: A compensating method for image scanning measures original optical values corresponding to a plurality of scan lines in a frame using a plurality of channels. First, a reference channel is selected from the plurality of channels. Based on the differences between the actual exposure locations of the reference channel and other channels on the frame, corresponding weighting values are then generated for compensating the original optical values measured by other channels, thereby generating the correction optical values for other channels.

The method comprises a step of receiving a digital image data; a step of determining if the digital image data includes an abnormal pixel; a step of retrieving two adjacent pixels of the abnormal pixel if positive; a step of obtaining a mean pixel by averaging the two adjacent pixels; and a step of amending the digital image data by replacing the abnormal pixel with the mean pixel so as to obtain an amended digital image data.
