  • Publication number: 20100036752
Abstract: A novel retail method of and system for (a) vendor(s) to enroll store(s) and manage an on-line catalog/menu of available goods/services through use of a website, (b) a customer to pre-select one or more “favorite” orders offered by vendor(s) through the use of a website, (c) a customer to subsequently initiate the ordering of one or more such pre-selected favorite(s) when at an Internet-connected terminal located at such a vendor's premises, with the system connecting one or more of the on-site ordering devices to an application that matches the customer to his/her pre-selected order(s) for the customer to then confirm (or cancel to abort the transaction) the specific pre-selected order to fulfill and alerts the order fulfillment personnel at store from where the order was initiated, and then (d) debits the customer's pre-paid account while providing a means of crediting the vendor providing the goods and/or service.

  • Patent number: 7527987
Abstract: Fast localization of electrically measured defects of integrated circuits includes providing information for fabricating a test chip having test structures configured for parallel electrical testing. The test structures on the test chip are electrically tested employing a parallel electrical tester. The results of the electrical testing are analyzed to localize defects on the test chip.

  • Patent number: 7487474
Abstract: An integrated circuit is designed to improve yield when manufacturing the integrated circuit, by obtaining a design element from a set of design elements used in designing integrated circuits. A variant design element is created based on the obtained design element, where a feature of the obtained design element is modified to create the variant design element. A yield to area ratio for the variant design element is determined. If the yield to area ratio of the variant design element is greater than a yield to area ratio of the obtained design element, the variant design element is retained to be used in designing the integrated circuit.

  • Patent number: 7356496
Abstract: A system and method for keeping ledger accounts in synchronization between a back-end procurement system and a front-end requisition and catalog system. An extract utility extracts a file of general ledger (G/L) accounts, including account code, description, and company code, from a chart of accounts in the back-end and transfers it to the front-end, where it is updated by an update utility to include company group code from a company group table and then loaded into a data store of valid general ledger accounts. Maintenance of the front end data store of valid accounts includes pushing to all companies in a company group ledger code entered with respect to any one of the companies in that group.

  • Publication number: 20070118242
Abstract: A system and method for predicting yield of integrated circuits includes at least one type of characterization vehicle which incorporates at least one feature which is representative of at least one type of feature to be incorporated in the final integrated circuit product. The characterization vehicle is subjected to at least one of the process operations making up the fabrication cycle to be used in fabricating the integrated circuit product in order to produce a yield model. The yield model embodies a layout as defined by the characterization vehicle and preferably includes features which facilitate the gathering of electrical test data and testing of prototype sections at operating speeds. An extraction engine extracts predetermined layout attributes from a proposed product layout. Operating on the yield model, the extraction engine produces yield predictions as a function of layout attributes and broken down by layers or steps in the fabrication process.

  • Patent number: 7155403
Abstract: A leveraged procurement network (LPN) system for leveraging purchasing across company and company groups includes a front-end requisition and catalog system accessible by users from a plurality of companies in different company groups. Access to procurement resources is controlled by user profiles and resource profiles specifying for each user and resource the applicable company group. Purchases against volume specific contracts are leveraged by requisitions for a plurality of company groups, while user access to procurement resources within the front-end system are controlled by company and/or company group.

  • Publication number: 20030057750
Abstract: The Car Seat Cooler is a fabric cover that will stretch entirely over a child's sit up position car seat. The purpose is to block the sun's harmful rays from heating up the dark plastic and metal used in the construction of car seats, heating up to temperatures so high, that it can cause severe discomfort and burning to a child's skin. The Car Seat Cooler will not cool down the car seat but will block out the sun's rays, keeping it cooler so that a child can be safely placed into a car seat that has been sitting under the sun. The Car Seat Cooler will be stored safely in a storage bag when it is not in use.

  • Publication number: 20020143699
Abstract: An invoice processing system includes a requisition and catalog server (referred to as a Req/Cat Web, or RCW, server), a procurement services system (SAP), and a requester terminal (browser). ReqCat Web allows requesters to input requirements (requisitions) which ReqCat then passes to SAP, which creates purchase orders, sends them to vendors for fulfillment, receives the vendors invoices, and prepares the payments. Commodities may be designated as either receivable or non-receivable, and this designation is stored in ReqCat web and passed to SAP on inbound requisitions. Payments on invoices received for non-receivable items are approved via a positive confirmation process, and payments on invoices received for receivable items are approved via a negative confirmation process. Positive acceptance of an invoice by a requester of commodities triggers automatic generation of a goods received (move) ticket.
