  • Patent number: 6087823
Abstract: There is provided an electronic inductance circuit having a transistor, a first resistor, a second resistor, a capacitor and a first current source. The main current path of the transistor and the first resistor are connected in series to form a first serial circuit between an input terminal and an output terminal. The second resistor and the capacitor are connected in series to form a second serial circuit between the input and output terminals, thus forming a parallel circuit of the first and second serial circuits. The connection point between the second resistor and the capacitor is coupled to the control terminal of the transistor. The connection point is connected to the first current source for determining the operating point of the transistor.

  • Patent number: 5546503
Abstract: In a neural network having neurons connected in a multi-layer, firstly, input signal sets are sequentially entered to statistically process the outputs of hidden neurons and determine the optimum number of hidden neurons. Secondly, while changing the input signal entered to each input neuron to the maximum change limit, the change of output values of the other input neurons are checked to thereby determine an unnecessary input neuron. Thirdly, the weights between input neurons and hidden neurons are set to be in correspondence with a hyperplane to enable pattern recognition.

  • Patent number: 5533168
Abstract: In a data processing apparatus employing a neurocomputer suitable for obtaining an optimum combination problem, a weight is determined based upon a relative relationship between a constraint condition and an evaluation function, and it is so arranged as to obtain a solution having low energy with respect to a solution obtained from an energy function with employment of this determined weight by increasing a diagonal element of the energy function. It is possible to give a minimum value or a solution near this minimum value at a high speed with regard to any problems.

  • Patent number: 4853890
Abstract: In a vector processor including pipeline processors and means for synchronously controlling each component, there is provided an FIFO memory for temporarily storing the output of each pipeline processor and for outputting the stored data, in the order of storing, to at least one of the pipeline processors. Since intermediate result of operation is temporarily stored in the FIFO memory, a simple microprogram can be used and thus the capacity of the memory for microprogram can be reduced even if the successive intermediate results for calculation of vector elements are overlapped within the loop of the microprogram.
