  • Publication number: 20150346254
Abstract: A noise immunity evaluation apparatus measures S parameters of a device including a pair of input signal ports, a pair of output signal ports, and a noise signal port for input of a noise signal; calculates, as an evaluation index, a difference between S parameters between the noise signal port and the pair of input signal ports or between the noise signal port and the pair of output signal ports; acquires a first frequency spectrum obtained by performing a fast Fourier transform on a voltage waveform obtained by performing an electromagnetic field analysis on the noise signal, and calculates a second frequency spectrum as a product of the first frequency spectrum and the evaluation index; and extracts a frequency with a local maximum voltage value in the second frequency spectrum as a frequency for evaluation of noise immunity.

  • Patent number: 8564815
Abstract: A transmission device including a detection unit, a processing unit and a transmission unit. The detection unit detects whether there are plural consecutive transmission elements in which absolute values of differences between lengths of the transmission elements are equal to or less than a pre-specified value. If intermission periods are not provided in the detected transmission elements, the processing unit performs processing that inserts at least one of an irregular signal and an intermission period into at least one of the transmission elements. If intermission periods are provided in the detected transmission elements, the processing unit performs at least one of processing that changes a length of the intermission period provided in at least one of the detected transmission elements and processing that inserts an irregular signal into at least one transmission element. The transmission unit transmits the processed transmission elements in an order of a transmission element group.

  • Patent number: 7203900
Abstract: This invention relates to a document processing apparatus which edits document data which can define a desired section using an original page as a unit of definition. Whether a page break is designated at the section break of the section is determined. If the page break is designated, a blank original page is inserted at the end of a section before the section break so as to lay out the first original page of a section after the section break at the start of a new surface of a print sheet when original pages are laid out in accordance with a designated layout.

  • Patent number: 7188311
Abstract: Attributes can be set for an entire document, each chapter, and each page by using an entire document attribute, chapter attribute, and page attribute. When the print format of a chapter is set with a chapter attribute different from the entire document attribute, this chapter is printed in a print format complying with the chapter attribute. Similarly, when the print format of a page is set with a page attribute different from the entire document attribute or chapter attribute, this page is printed in the print format complying with the page attribute. In hierarchically displaying the document structure with a book, chapters, and pages, a predetermined icon is so added as to identify a chapter or page having a unique attribute.
