  • Patent number: 9628936
Abstract: An application program relating to a process of an integrated circuit is stored in a virtual integrated circuit storage area server apparatus. Following a mutual authentication between the IC and the virtual storage area server apparatus through a portable communication function unit, the server apparatus executes the application program. Additionally, through the IC, the portable communication function unit, a wireless communication line, and a network, communicate with an IC_R/W apparatus and perform a process relating to a service in collaboration with each other.

  • Patent number: 9313721
Abstract: To reduce power consumption for communication operation wherein a client terminal at the time of offline searches a base station or access point. A server uses a communication information predicting algorithm to predict a location or time whereby the server becomes an offline state over a movement route of a client terminal, and a location or time whereby the server returns to an online state, and informs to the client terminal. The client terminal suspends a communication function when reaching the informed offline predicted location or time. The client terminal at the time of offline determines that the current location or time has reached an online return predicted location or time using location recognition or point-in-time recognition, and restores the communication function.

  • Publication number: 20150311958
Abstract: A method for a communication device includes determining whether a first radio frequency (RF) signal at a level of at least a first predetermined field threshold is detected. The method also includes generating a second RF signal at a level of at least a second predetermined field threshold greater than the first predetermined field threshold, when the communication device receives an instruction to generate the second RF signal and the determining determines that the first RF signal at the level of at least the first predetermined field threshold is not detected. • Patent number: 8687799
Abstract: When an encryption processing circuit encrypts data, a current flows in the encryption processing circuit. A noise current generated by a noise generation circuit is superimposed on the current consumed by the encryption processing circuit. The present invention is applicable to an IC chip that encrypts plaintext data using a key, thus preventing the key from being broken by DPA attacks based on analysis of the current consumption to provide high security.

  • Patent number: RE45205
Abstract: When an IC card is passed over an external card reading and writing apparatus, the IC card starts communication with the card reading and writing apparatus via a wireless interface, so that a change in the internal state of the IC card is reported to an external device via an external wired interface or a dedicated control signal line, thus allowing a specific application to be enabled on the external device or allowing a controller to be powered on and activated. Alternatively, the controller is powered off and deactivated. Accordingly, processing according to the communication state between the IC card and the card reading and writing apparatus or the internal state of the IC card can be smoothly initiated.
