Abstract: Disclosed are an electrophotographic plate comprising a photoconductive layer containing an organic photoconductive substance on an electroconductive support, characterized in that said photoconductive layer has a film containing as the organic photoconductive substance a metal naphthalocyanine derivative represented by the formula (I): ##STR1## wherein M represents germanium or tin; L and L' each independently represent a halogen, a hydroxyl group, an alkyl group, an alkoxy group or a siloxy group of the formula R.sub.1 R.sub.2 R.sub.3 SiO-- (wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkoxy group or an aryl group),a metal naphthalocyanine derivative defined above and a process for producing the same.

Abstract: There is disclosed an electrophotographic plate comprising an electroconductive supporting substrate and a photoconductive layer formed thereon, wherein the photoconductive layer contains an organic photoconductive material as a charge generation material, said organic photoconductive material being a naphthalocyanine compound represented by the formula ##STR1## or the general formula ##STR2## wherein M denotes one member selected from the group consisting of Cu, Zn, Mg, OTi, OV, ClAl ClGa, ClIn, Cl.sub.2 Si, Cl.sub.2 Ge, and Cl.sub.2 Sn.

Abstract: A 5- or 6-alkoxycarbonyl-2,3-dicyanonaphthalene is a useful intermediate for synthesizing a tetrakis(alkoxycarbonyl) metal naphthalocyanine.

Abstract: An electrophotographic plate comprising an electroconductive support and a photoconductive layer containing a naphthalocyanine compound having siloxy groups bonded to the central metal silicon as a charge generating substance has high sensitivity to the longer wavelength light of about 800 nm without conducting a special treatment.

Abstract: Drug preparations for external application having a stick-itself-to-the-skin property, so-called "soft patch", are provided. The preparations contain a drug, a water-soluble protein having an absorption-promoting effect, a polyhydric alcohol a tackifier, and an oleaginous substance, and ensure an improved percutaneous absorption and bioavailability of the drugs, thus permitting an accurate control of drug dosage.
