  • Patent number: 6665590
Abstract: An operation support system is arranged to effectively provide an operator of an energy supply facility for supplying a plurality of energies in different forms with a hint of an operating method in which energy safety supply and operation cost reduction are both realized. The operation support system takes the steps of deriving demand prediction upper limit value and lower value for each energy form based on recorded demand data; deriving target operation pattern upper and lower limit values of each energy supply device based on the demand prediction upper and lower values; and displaying the target operation pattern upper and lower limit values.

  • Patent number: 6621912
Abstract: Fixing of a voice coil (16) to a diaphragm (12) is performed by caulk-fixing a coil supporting member (26) to the diaphragm (12) and by fit-supporting the voice coil (16) by the coil supporting member (26). Hereby, the voice coil 16 is physically fixed to the diaphragm (12) and its fixing strength is heightened. The caulk-fixing is performed by subjecting a caulking projection of the coil supporting member (26) to a plastic deformation thereby to provide a caulk-fixed portion (26b), whereby deformation injurious to the acoustic property does not occur in the diaphragm (12). Further, the fit-supporting is performed by interposing a flange portion (16a1) formed at an upper end portion (16a) of the voice coil (16) between an engaging portion (26a) of the coil supporting member (26) and a central flat portion (12b) of the diaphragm (12) and holding it by them from upper and lower sides.

  • Patent number: 6513623
Abstract: A frame (14) supporting a diaphragm (12) by its outer periphery is constructed by a connecting ring (30) and a base (28) which comprises a bottomed cylinder portion (28A) and a mounting portion (28B) which extends radially outward from the bottomed cylinder portion (28A) which is a part of the magnetic circuit unit (18). The connection is achieved by the caulking of the ring (30) and the mounting portion (28B) with the diaphragm (12) clamped therebetween.

  • Publication number: 20020175021
Abstract: The diaphragm is supported by the frame at the outer edge thereof. The pair of terminal members is mounted on the frame, and a pair of lead wire drawn from the voice coil is fixed to the land portion of the terminal member for electrical continuity. Since the land portion is disposed on the upper side of the frame, fixation of the lead wire can be performed without turning the frame upside down. This simplifies the manufacturing process of the speaker and also prevents a breakage of the lead wire that conventionally happens when the frame is turned upside down. Further, this prevents the operator from touching the lead wire since no part of the lead wire is exposed outside the frame after the fixation.

  • Patent number: 6484844
Abstract: By forming a flange portion (16a1) protruding inward in the radial direction at an upper end portion (16a) of a voice coil (16), a coiling sectional shape of the voice coil (16) is set to a L-shape. And, the upper end portion (16a) of this voice coil (16), is bonded and fixed to a central flat portion (12b) of a diaphragm (12). Hereby, by only increasing slightly the weight of the usual voice coil having an I-shaped coiling section, the large bonding area can be obtained between the voice coil (16) and the diaphragm (12), so that separation of the voice coil (16) can be prevented. Further, since other portions of the voice coil (16) than the upper end portion (16a) thereof have the usual coil thickness, it is not necessary to expand the width of a cylindrical magnetic gap G in a magnetic circuit unit (18), whereby it is prevented that electroacoustic conversion efficiency of a speaker (10) lowers.

  • Publication number: 20020150271
Abstract: A low cost dynamic speaker 10 which effectively prevents damage of the diaphragm 16 when the speaker 10 is mounted on the printed circuit board 2. The insulating ring 22 is attached to the front surface of the diaphragm 16 at the periphery. The insulating ring 22 has a pair of terminal pins 24 supported thereon for continuity of the lead wire 18a with the conductor 4 of the printed circuit board 2. The conducting portion 24b of each of the terminal pins 24 is protruded forward beyond the annular flat surface 22a of the insulating ring 22. Compared with the conventional terminal pin having the shape of a letter of “J” for continuity with the conductor 4 of the printed circuit board 2, the terminal pin 24 of the present invention is simply formed to be straight and short, thus contributing to reduction in cost of the speaker 10. Further, when the speaker 10 is mounted on the printed circuit board 2, the front side of the speaker 10 faces the printed circuit board 2.

  • Publication number: 20020139608
Abstract: A speaker holder for a speaker mounted on a printed circuit board. The speaker holder 50 comprises the speaker engagement portion 52 abutting the bottomed cylindrical portion 26A of the frame 26 of the speaker 10 and a plurality of engagement legs 54 extending from the speaker engagement portion 52. The speaker 10 is put tightly between the speaker engagement portion 52 and the printed circuit board 2 and fixed thereto via the engagement legs 54. Compared with the conventional speaker holder having separate structures for retaining the speaker and for fixing the holder to the printed circuit board 2, the mounting height of the holder 50 in state where the speaker 10 is mounted on the printed circuit board 2 via the holder 50 is considerably lowered. Further, the holder 50 is of a simple structure since a structure for retaining a speaker is not required.

  • Publication number: 20010045320
Abstract: In a speaker unit, a case 40 is formed of a synthetic resin member having a case body 42 and a protective cover 44 integrally molded. Further, an opening portion 48 is formed in a surrounding wall 46 of the case body 42 and a beam 50 is formed inside of the case body 42. In a state where the speaker 20 is inserted into the case body 42 through the opening portion 48, the speaker 20 is held by the beam 50 and the protective cover 44 from its upside and downside.

  • Patent number: 6094108
Abstract: An unbalance-to-balance converter includes an FET and a balanced output adjusting capacitor connected between the source terminal of the FET and an earth conductor. The balanced output adjusting capacitor has a capacitance value equal to a capacitance difference Cpd-Cps between a drain side parasitic capacitance Cpd and a source side parasitic capacitance Cps. This makes it possible to solve a problem involved in a conventional unbalance-to-balance converter in that when the drain side parasitic capacitance Cpd differs from the source side parasitic capacitance Cps, a pair of balanced signals output from the drain terminal and source terminal do not have the same amplitude and are not in complete opposition.

  • Patent number: 6062041
Abstract: Provided is a method for liquefying natural gas which can be applied to LNG plants of a wide range of capacity and can produce LNG both efficiently and economically. Feed gas of natural gas or a non-liquefied component of recycle gas which is produced during a process of liquefying natural gas is liquefied by using a first refrigerant, for instant consisting of a C3 refrigerant, and a second refrigerant which is different from the first refrigerant, for instance consisting of a C2 refrigerant, in a stepwise fashion. The flow is then liquefied by a substantially isentropic expansion process. The non-liquefied component remaining from this expansion process is then pressurized by a compressor, and combined with the non-liquefied component of the natural gas for recycling the combined flow. The compressor is driven by power obtained from the substantially isentropic expansion process.
