  • Publication number: 20060088808
Abstract: A riding device includes a bottom base and an intermediate base pivotally positioned on the bottom base and having its front and rear end respectively and pivotally provided with two front and two rear swing arms. A seat plate positioned over the intermediate base has four corners with a connecting lug connected with the upper ends of the swing arms. A transmission unit fixed on the intermediate base has a motor for driving a first, a second and a third gear to rotate synchronously. A crank is secured on the shaft of the second gear. A pull rod is connected with the bottom base and also with the shaft of the third gear. The riding device of this invention can swing back and forth, swing up and down and swing left and right obliquely.

  • Patent number: 7014597
Abstract: A walk simulating machine is provided with two side connecting rods for supporting two pedal connecting rods. Each side connecting rod consists of an upper and a lower connecting rod pivotally connected with each other, the upper connecting rod fixed with a horizontal rod, while the lower connecting rod able to sway back and forth together with the pedal connecting rod. Thus, when the upper and the lower connecting rod are positioned in a straight line and in a non-straight line, the sway pivot of the front end of the pedal connecting rod will be different and hence the front end of the walking orbit will turn upward a bit, able to keep a user's body stable when exercising walk thereon. The upper connect rods can be driven by a slope adjuster to change its positional angles and synchronously change the angles of the walking orbit.

  • Patent number: 6964614
Abstract: A riding device includes an intermediate base pivotally assembled on a bottom base and having the opposite ends respectively provided with a front and a rear vertical spindle. The front spindle has each end fixed with a crank, and the rear spindle has each end movably connected with a swing arm. The cranks and the swing arms have their upper ends respectively connected with four feet of a seat plate. A transmission unit fixed on the intermediate base includes a motor for driving a first, a second and a third gear to rotate. The third gear is secured on the front spindle. A pull rod has its upper end connected with the second gear by a universal bearing and its lower end connected with the bottom base. When the motor started, the seat plate can be actuated by interaction to swing back and forth, up and down and left and right.

  • Publication number: 20050227815
Abstract: A walk simulating machine includes two pedal connect rods, a horizontal rod, two side connect rods consisting of an upper and a lower connect rod, and a stop member in front of each upper connect rod. The lower connect rods sway together with the pedal connect rods. The upper and the lower connect rods sway straight if the upper connect rods not stopped by the stop member; the lower connect rods solely sway if the upper connect rods stopped. So the walking orbit of the pedals may have different centers in the two different conditions. The front end portion of the walking orbit bends up, letting the heels land on the ground first for a user to stand stably. Further, a slope adjuster is provided to adjust the angle of the stop members relative to the upper connect rods for making three modes of exercise.
