  • Patent number: 6146592
Abstract: There is disclosed an automatic biochemical analyzer having a sample turntable and a reaction turntable. Plural sample containers for holding samples are arrayed on the sample turntable. Plural reaction containers are arrayed on the reaction turntable. A sampling pipette draws in a sample from some sampling container and injects the sample into some reaction container. A reagent pipette draws in some reagent from some reagent container and injects the reagent into the same reaction container. The resulting mixture is stirred by a stirring device. Produced reaction products are detected by a detector. Let N be the number of the reaction containers on the reaction turntable. The reaction turntable is rotated in M pitches in one step. Note that M and N do not have any common factor. First and second injecting positions adjacent to each other are established as positions where the reagent pipette can inject a reagent into the reaction container in position.

  • Patent number: 6003531
Abstract: There is disclosed a pipette-washing device for use with an automatic biochemical analyzer. The pipette-washing device includes a wash fluid-ejecting block for ejecting a wash fluid toward pipette. An upwardly spreading groove is formed in the top surface of the body of the block and extends along the trajectory of the front end of the pipette. The groove is connected at its lower end with the vertical wash fluid channel. A lateral draining channel is formed in the body of the block and connected with the lower end of the vertical wash fluid channel. When the pipette moves, the front end of the pipette moves through the groove. The block is inclined at an angle to the vertical within a plane in which the groove extends.

  • Patent number: 5948358
Abstract: There is disclosed a washing device for use with an automatic biochemical analyzer using reaction containers. The washing device comprises a sucking portion and a draining tube. When the sucking portion is advanced into any one reaction container placed in position and is set in a given position, a communication passage is created between the inner wall surface of the container and the outer wall surface of the sucking portion and between the bottom surface of the container and the bottom surface of the sucking portion. During draining, the container is depleted of wash liquid. Outside air flows from the communication passage into the container through its opening at the top end at a flow rate more than a given value. The air flow blows away the water droplets adhering to the inner wall surface of the container. The blown water droplets are urged downward toward the sucking port in the suction portion. Then, the water droplets are discharged into a waste tank through the draining tube.

  • Patent number: 5876668
Abstract: There is disclosed a small-sized automatic biochemical analyzer requiring reduced amounts of reagents. An original sample is transferred to diluting containers on a diluting turntable. The diluted sample is transferred to reaction containers on a reaction turntable and analyzed. The original sample is once diluted. The aliquots of sample are taken from the diluted sample. Thus, a limitation imposed by the minimum volume of liquid that the instrument can meter out can be overcome. Let N be the total number of the diluting containers on the diluting turntable. The turntable is rotated in M pitches at a time. M and N do not have any common factor.

  • Patent number: 5819161
Abstract: A transmitter and a two-way radio set which can be made structurally much simpler and also which can reduce consumption current. A carrier is obtained by frequency-dividing an oscillation signal generated by an oscillator, and the first local signal and the second local signal are obtained on the basis of the oscillation signal generated by the oscillator. Therefore, the construction can be made simple as compared with the conventional system, and power consumption can be reduced.

  • Patent number: 5812612
Abstract: A transmitter which can easily suppress diffusion of a spurious signal with a simple constitution, wherein the on/off operations of the transmitting circuit and the carrier signal generating circuit are controlled by the first control signal which rises at the predetermined timing and falls at the predetermined timing, and the on/off operation of the modulator is controlled by the second control signal which gently rises at the same or later timing than the rise timing of the first control signal and gently falls at the same or earlier timing than the fall timing of the first control signal, so that a phenomenon which is similar to pulse modulation of the leaked carrier signal fc becomes hard to be generated, therefore diffusion of the spurious signal can be suppressed.

  • Patent number: 5442653
Abstract: A signal transmitting and receiving apparatus includes a transmitting circuit block which has a carrier signal supplying portion for supplying first and second carrier signals having the same frequency and a relative phase angle difference of substantially ninety degrees to be used for producing a transmissible digital phase-modulated signal. A receiving circuit block in which received digital data are obtained is based on a received digital phase-modulated signal, wherein the carrier signal supplying portion comprises a carrier signal generator for generating an additional carrier signal having a frequency twice as high as the frequency of each of the first and second carrier signals. A first flip-flop circuit produces the first carrier signal based on the additional carrier signal. A second flip-flop circuit produces the second carrier signal based on the additional carrier signal having been phase-inverted.

  • Patent number: 5339309
Abstract: A transmitter-receiver is simple in arrangement and can prevent a receiving circuit side from being disturbed; in which one channel is divided to provide a transmission slot and a reception slot. Transmission and reception are effected in the transmission slot and reception slot of one channel in a time division manner and a channel selection frequency synthesizer is commonly used both in the transmitting circuit and the receiving circuit. This transmitter-receiver includes a modulator circuit (40) of the transmitting circuit which has an oscillator (41) for modulating a signal into a predetermined frequency and a multiplier circuit (44) for converting an output signal of the oscillator (41) into a desired intermediate frequency. • Patent number: 4226930
Abstract: A method of production of photopolymer printing plates particularly characterized in the transfer procedure. In the method, an electrostatic latent image of original material is produced on a photoconductive medium, the image is developed by application of toner particles, and the toner image is transferred onto photopolymer printing plates having photosensitive resin layer or containing polymerizable monomer through linear pressure of line contact. The toner image thus transferred is then exposed to light without being fixed, plate portions defined by the toner image being subsequently removed together with the toner particles.
