  • Publication number: 20130117356
Abstract: A storage device including a software development kit that includes a Web service interface includes a communication unit, a conversion table, a reverse conversion unit, and a conversion unit. The communication unit transmits a request message to a Web service and receives a response message from the Web service. The conversion table stores a pre-conversion side service method name of the Web service that is corresponded with a post-conversion side service method name. The reverse conversion unit, when data regarding the request message includes the post-conversion side service method name stored in the conversion table, converts the post-conversion side service method name into the corresponding pre-conversion side service method name. The conversion unit, when data regarding the response message includes the pre-conversion side service method name stored in the conversion table, converts the pre-conversion side service method name into the corresponding post-conversion side service method name.

  • Publication number: 20120300239
Abstract: A document reading unit performs a first reading mode for generating image data by reading a document fed by ADF and a second reading mode for generating image data by reading a document set on platen. A first reading receiver receives a first reading instruction to cause the document reading unit to continue reading a plurality of documents in the first reading mode when a jam is detected. A second reading receiver receives a second reading instruction to continue reading the plurality of documents in the second reading mode after the reading of the plurality of documents is continued in the first reading mode by the document reading unit. The document reading unit continues reading the plurality of documents in the first reading mode when the first reading instruction is received and continues reading the plurality of documents in the second reading mode when the second reading instruction is received.

  • Patent number: 7035738
Abstract: Where a DNA chip corresponding to a bacterium that is a subsequently added identification object is produced, temporal and pecuniary cost is reduced, and even where a probe unique to the DNA sequence of an identification object cannot be designed, precision in identifying DNA comprised in a sample is maximized. First, on designing a probe, a plurality of different probes are prepared to one kind of bacterium. Where some probes come to be not available by addition of bacteria that are new identification objects, identification is carried out using the remaining probes. Where a probe unique to an identification target bacterium cannot be designed, a probability of correct identification is increased by using multiple probes. Moreover, in consideration with a possibility that multiple kinds of bacteria simultaneously exist, a combination of probes that maximizes a probability of correct identification is selected.

  • Publication number: 20040219593
Abstract: A method of conducting accurate identification of biological species with a biochip, and a method of effectuating identification of biological species at a level higher than species are provided. Selection of specific probes for multiple biological species is also facilitated. A plurality of partial sequences A, A′; B, B′; and so on, which are specific to respective targets, are selected as probes. in a manner that the partial sequences do not overlap one another. In addition, DNA regions I, J, K and L, which are common to some targets, respectively, are also selected as probes. Alternatively, if there is a common base sequence at leaves below a certain node based on a dendrogram of targets, such a base sequence is designed as a probe unique to the node.

Abstract: A means of simultaneously detecting the characteristics of a plurality of proteins is provided. The protein detection method is a method of simultaneously detecting a plurality of proteins contained in a sample and comprises the steps of: arranging, on a substrate, a plurality of substances to be arranged, which form specific complexes with analytes; forming a plurality of first specific conjugates by allowing a specific binding reaction to occur on the above substrate between the analytes contained in the sample and the above plurality of arranged substances; forming a plurality of second specific complexes by allowing a specific binding reaction to occur between substances, which form specific complexes with the analytes and are labeled with a fluorescence reagent or an RI reagent, and the above plurality of first specific conjugates; and identifying the analytes contained in the sample by detecting the labels contained in the above plurality of second specific complexes.
