  • Patent number: 7732791
Abstract: A semiconductor testing method capable of quickly counting semiconductor cells in which a seemingly horizontal or vertical line is drawn with a mouse, and raster rotation is performed in alignment with the closer axis. After that, the stage is horizontally moved, pattern matching is performed on an image on a position where the image should be disposed, and an angle is adjusted. The stage is moved evenly along the X-axis and the Y-axis, achieving a movement to a destination like a straight line. In synchronization with the smooth movement of the stage, a cell is surrounded in a rectangular frame by a ruler, and the number of cells is displayed with a numeric value.

  • Publication number: 20100111513
Abstract: Two-step photo-irradiation heat treatment is performed so that a total photo-irradiation time is not more than one second and that a first step of photo-irradiation of a semiconductor wafer is performed with a light-emission output that averages out at a first light-emission output and a second step of photo-irradiation of the semiconductor wafer is performed in accordance with an output waveform that peaks at a second light-emission output that is higher than both average and maximum light-emission outputs in the first step. Performing preliminary photo-irradiation with a relatively low light-emission output in the first step and then performing intense photo-irradiation with a higher peak in the second step enables the surface temperature of a semiconductor wafer to increase further with a smaller amount of energy than in conventional cases, while preventing the semiconductor wafer from shattering.

  • Patent number: 7664321
Abstract: This invention provides the following environment. That is, an original document file corresponding to a document to be copied is specified from image data of that document to be copied, and a print process is made based on the specified file so as to prevent deterioration of image quality. Also, when a document to be copied is not registered, a registration process is executed to suppress deterioration of image quality in an early stage. Furthermore, since the document is converted into vector data, re-use of such document is facilitated, and deterioration of image quality can be suppressed even when an image process such as enlargement or the like is made. To this end, when an original digital file cannot be specified, an apparatus of this embodiment executes a vectorization process (S54), converts the obtained vector data into a data format that can be re-used by an application (S55), and registers the converted file in a file server (S56).

  • Publication number: 20100033778
Abstract: When color materials of more than four colors are used, a signal for the amount of toner used within a range appropriate for the apparatus and toner characteristic is generated using a color separation table. However, a printer receives print data of various formats, such as image data separated into signal values of more than four colors, or image data of a special format to which a six-color separation table cannot be applied. Hence, an image signal representing a combination of colors is input. The sum of the signal values of colors in each pixel of the image signal is calculated and compared with a limit value. When the sum exceeds the limit value, the signal values of base colors are replaced with that of a spot color based on a replacement table for replacing the signal values of the base colors with that of the spot color.

  • Patent number: 7653254
Abstract: A variable c1 is counted up by one for the Nth bit in attribute information=“1”, and a variable c0 is counted up by one for the Nth bit=“0” (S402). When the total code amount of the coding results of pieces of attribute information which have been coded up to now has exceeded a predetermined threshold, a value held by the variable c0 at this time and that held by the variable c1 are compared with each other to determine which of “1” or “0” is set for the Nth bit of subsequently input attribute information (S405).

  • Patent number: 7640269
Abstract: This invention provides an image processing system and image processing method which can promote efficient use of a memory by vectorizing all data of a representative object and, for the same or similar object, referring to the vectorized representative object and using difference data and also convert the same or similar objects at once by editing only the representative object. Input image information is vectorized. The vector data of a representative object is stored. Identity between a target object and the representative object is determined. If the two objects are identical, property information containing information about the reference destination of the vector data of the representative object is stored in place of the vector data of the target object.

  • Publication number: 20090275212
Abstract: A semiconductor wafer implanted with impurities is loaded into a chamber. After oxygen gas is introduced around the semiconductor wafer, the semiconductor wafer is irradiated with a flash of light from flash lamps for an irradiation time not shorter than 0.1 milliseconds and not longer than 100 milliseconds, to thereby momentarily raise the surface temperature of the semiconductor wafer up to not lower than 800° C. and not higher than 1300° C. Since the temperature rises in an extremely short time, it is possible to activate the impurities while suppressing thermal diffusion thereof. Further, since an extremely thin oxide film is formed on a surface of the semiconductor wafer, this film serves as a protection film in a subsequent cleaning process, to prevent removal of the impurities.

  • Patent number: 7596271
Abstract: This invention provides an image processing system and image processing method which can specify and save an input image which matches a predetermined pattern and also simplify the determination process. Vector data is generated from image information input by a scanner. Keyword information to inhibit reuse, which is contained in the image information, is input. The similarity between the input vector data and the keyword information is determined. Only when it is determined that the vector data is similar to the keyword information, the generated vector data is stored in a storage device.
