  • Patent number: 8461828
Abstract: A wheel speed detecting device includes a countermeasure against the entrance of muddy water. An annular recess groove is provided in an outer circumference of an end portion of a hub on a sensor side. A cup-shaped flange portion extends from the sensor supporting member with the flange portion covering the annular recess groove while maintaining a predetermined gap T1 between the flange portion and the outer circumference of the end portion of the hub. Muddy water heads toward a multi-pole magnet ring by running through the gap T1 formed between the flange portion and the outer circumference of the hub. However, the entrance of muddy water can be effectively prevented by making the gap T1 small. Thus, muddy water that enters the gap T1 is trapped in the annular recess groove.

  • Publication number: 20120080241
Abstract: A platform scale for weighing an object to be weighed by supporting it by a plurality of load detection sections, wherein the load detection section comprises a load sensor 40 having a block body 42 for transmitting an applied load to a tuning fork vibrator 41 coupled to the block body 42 by reducing the load, a circuit board having fabricated thereon circuitry for converting a signal from the tuning fork vibrator into a digital signal and a sensor case 33 for accommodating the load sensor and the circuit board. The sensor case 33 is made by casting stainless material by a lost wax process and is directly coupled to parallel base frames 20 for maintaining the distance between the base frames. The sensor case has sufficient mechanical strength and also acts as a structural member for the base frames, thereby reducing the number of components and the height of a weighing table.

  • Patent number: 8051963
Abstract: A motorcycle with a disk brake device and an anti-dip device for improving the external appearance of the front forks and for simplifying the fixing of the hoses. A single hose includes a hydraulic passage k extending from a secondary master cylinder and one end of the hose is connected to one opening of a three-way opening coupling fixed to the front forks. One end of a single hose is supported by the secondary master cylinder and the other end is supported by the three-way opening coupling. Thus the hose clamps may be omitted, the number of components is conspicuously reduced and the arrangement is simplified. In comparison to extending two hoses from the secondary master cylinder, only a single hose is extended according to the present invention. Thus, the handling of the hoses is simplified and the outer appearance near the front forks is improved.

  • Patent number: 7913824
Abstract: A vehicular disk brake device having a first air discharge mouth and a first hose connection mouth connected to a center cylinder project from an outer face of the caliper case in close proximity and so that the axes of the first hose connection mouth and the first air discharge mouth are parallel. In addition, a difference of elevation h1 is provided on both tip end faces so that the tip end face of the first air discharge mouth is higher than the tip end face of the first hose connection mouth. Since an elevation difference h1 is provided on both tip end faces so that the tip end face of the first air discharge mouth is higher than the tip end face of the first hose connection mouth, obstructing components about an air valve mounted on the first air discharge mouth are avoided.

  • Patent number: 7438149
Abstract: A space is secured inside left and right pivot plates and a space is secured in front of a rear wheel to increase flexibility in design. In a motorcycle including left and right pivot plates provided at the rear portion of main pipes, a swing arm is provided on pivots so as to be capable of moving in the vertical direction. Only one rear suspension is interposed between the swing arm and the main pipe that is disposed outside the pivot plate in the direction of the width of the vehicle. A lower end of the rear suspension is connected to an upper surface of an arm portion of the swing arm. The rear suspension is mounted to one of the main pipe so as to extend continuously from the main pipe and substantially linearly in the direction of the length of the vehicle in a top view.

  • Patent number: 7274188
Abstract: In a motorcycle, to prevent an increase in the diameter of a hub in association with the mounting of a pulser ring and for increasing the flexibility when arranging a wheel speed sensor. An annular groove is formed on a side surface of an annular rear brake disk in an annular shape. A stepped annular pulser ring is mounted to the side surface of the rear brake disk so that a pulser section is located in the groove. Thus, a space for accommodating the pulser ring on an inner periphery of the rear brake disk is eliminated. In addition, the size of a hub-engagement hole on the rear brake disk may be reduced. Since the pulser section of the pulser ring is located in the groove of the rear brake disk, it does not take much space in the direction of an axle.

  • Patent number: 7257871
Abstract: According to the present invention, for a dead human body in which the blood contains a predetermined ratio or more of bilirubin, which causes discoloration of the body, before the primary embalmment processing employing the perfusion type antiseptic fixing method using a formalin solution, the body is cleaned with an antiseptic solution, and the preliminary processing is performed. Specifically, a photo catalyst embalming solution containing a photo catalyst is injected into the vessels of the body, and after the photo catalyst embalming solution has been distributed to the capillaries in the dermis of portions of the body for which discoloration is to be prevented, the portions are irradiated by an electromagnetic wave (e.g., UV) to induce photo catalytic activity to locally, at the least, decompose bilirubin and reduce the amount in the body portions. As a result, the appearance of a body in a special state, wherein the amount of bilirubin is excessive, can be maintained so it is as natural as possible.
