  • Publication number: 20060065462
Abstract: A space is secured inside left and right pivot plates and a space is secured in front of a rear wheel to increase flexibility in design. In a motorcycle including left and right pivot plates provided at the rear portion of main pipes, a swing arm is provided on pivots so as to be capable of moving in the vertical direction. Only one rear suspension is interposed between the swing arm and the main pipe that is disposed outside the pivot plate in the direction of the width of the vehicle. A lower end of the rear suspension is connected to an upper surface of an arm portion of the swing arm. The rear suspension is mounted to one of the main pipe so as to extend continuously from the main pipe and substantially linearly in the direction of the length of the vehicle in a top view.

  • Publication number: 20060066294
Abstract: In a motorcycle, to prevent an increase in the diameter of a hub in association with the mounting of a pulser ring and for increasing the flexibility when arranging a wheel speed sensor. An annular groove is formed on a side surface of an annular rear brake disk in an annular shape. A stepped annular pulser ring is mounted to the side surface of the rear brake disk so that a pulser section is located in the groove. Thus, a space for accommodating the pulser ring on an inner periphery of the rear brake disk is eliminated. In addition, the size of a hub-engagement hole on the rear brake disk may be reduced. Since the pulser section of the pulser ring is located in the groove of the rear brake disk, it does not take much space in the direction of an axle.

  • Publication number: 20050035500
Abstract: A product having a glass layer is produced that can be produced at low cost and can exhibit excellent antibacterial function. A base body, a first glazing material capable of forming a first glass layer on a surface of the base body, and a second glazing material capable of forming a second glass layer containing a silver compound on the surface of the base body. A first glazing material layer comprising the first glazing material and, on the surface side, a second glazing material layer comprising the second glazing material are formed on the surface of the base body. The first glazing material layer and the second glazing material layer are melted to form a first glass layer and a second glass layer. The second glazing material layer has a higher viscosity upon melting than the first glazing material layer.

  • Patent number: 6463905
Abstract: An engine working machine formed by storing a radiator and a cooling fan, for leading heat exchange air for the radiator, in a package together with an engine and a working machine. Wherein a storage space for the engine and working machine is separate from a ventilating port, which communicates with a space between the radiator and the cooling fan. The space is shielded by partitions from an air leading space to which air is led after being passed through the radiator by the cooling fan. A cooling air leading port for externally cooling the engine and the working machine is formed in a part of the package so that outside air led from the cooling air leading port passes the storing space and is exhausted from the ventilating port to the air leading space, to which air is led after having passed through the radiator.
