  • Patent number: 10007375
Abstract: A mobile phone includes a processor and a touch detector configured to detect a touch position on a display. When the touch position is moved, the processor moves a cursor position along a path obtained by increasing a path of the touch position, and displays a cursor at the cursor position. When the touch position is no longer detected in a state in which the cursor position is on the display, the processor performs processing allocated to the cursor position concerning a home screen. The processor displays a notification list screen on the display based on movement of the cursor position out of the display before the touch position is no longer detected. When the touch position is no longer detected, the processor performs processing allocated to the cursor position concerning the notification list screen.

  • Patent number: 9715811
Abstract: A water immersion detection unit detects that an electronic device has been immersed in water. If it is detected that the electronic device has been immersed in water, a salt detection unit measures the salt concentration. A processor makes a determination whether or not the electronic device has been immersed in seawater based on the salt concentration. The processor determines whether or not the electronic device should be washed in water based on a result of the determination whether or not the electronic device has been immersed in seawater. The processor causes a display to display a warning if it is determined that the electronic device should be washed in water.

  • Patent number: 9696891
Abstract: A mobile terminal device and methods are disclosed. A casing has a plurality of surfaces. A display module is provided on a first surface of the casing and displays a screen including an object. A first detection module is provided to overlap at least part of the display module and detects an operation performed on the display module. A second detection module is provided on a second surface opposite to the first surface and detects a movement operation for moving the screen. A control module cuts out at least a partial region including the object from the screen and moves the cut region according to the movement operation, when the movement operation has been detected.

  • Publication number: 20160110037
Abstract: An electronic apparatus includes a display, an operation detector configured to detect an operation performed with an operator on the display, a time counter configured to measure a contact time, and a processor configured to run an application program corresponding to an image displayed by the display. The image includes a first image displayed by the display at a first size or a second size smaller than the first size. In a case where the display displays, at the second size, the first image including a graphic representing the corresponding application program and not including text information, the processor causes the display to display the text information when the operator is in contact with the first image, and the contact time with the first image is longer than a first threshold.

  • Patent number: 9155096
Abstract: In the case of setting a transmission weight to a transmitted signal, when there exists a second known signal which is received by a plurality of antennas after a first known signal used for calculation of the transmission weight and is transmitted with a transmission frequency band different from the first known signal, a transmission weight processing unit of a weight processing unit corrects the transmission weight by use of a delay amount of reception timing concerning the second known signal. Then, the transmission weight processing unit sets the corrected transmission weight to a transmitted signal.

  • Publication number: 20100246700
Abstract: A bit-converting unit inputs from an FFT unit a multicarrier signal converted into the frequency domain and shown as a floating-point number. The bit-converting unit specifies the position of the highest-order bit for each of a plurality of subcarriers that form the multicarrier signal and determines the position of a bit width to be commonly used for each of the plurality of subcarriers based on the specified position of the highest-order bit. The bit-converting unit converts the multicarrier signal from a floating-point number to a fixed-point number while using the determined position of the bit width. The bit-converting unit outputs the converted multicarrier signal to a reception processor that performs fixed-point arithmetic.

  • Patent number: 7394847
Abstract: A second phase rotation unit rotates a signal equalized by an equalizer by a phase error detected by a second phase error detection unit. A decision unit partitions a phase plane into a plurality of sub-areas in accordance with phases to which CCK modulated signals are assigned. The decision unit identifies a sub-area corresponding to an output signal from the second phase rotation unit, and thereby converts the output signal from the second phase rotation unit into a value corresponding to the identified sub-area. An FWT transform unit subjects the value resulting from conversion in the decision unit to FWT computation so as to output a Walsh transform value FWT. A maximum value searching unit receives 64 Walsh transform values FWT and selects one Walsh transform value by referring to the magnitude thereof.

  • Publication number: 20070204182
Abstract: A cellular phone in the form of a shell downloads and reproduces encrypted content data distributed from a distribution server. The cellular phone includes a detection unit detecting whether its casing in the form of the shell is open/closed. If with the cellular phone currently downloading or reproducing encrypted content data its casing in the form of the shell is closed, a controller controls a power supply unit to supply power required for completing the download process or the reproduction process. Thus if the casing is closed the cellular phone still can complete the download or reproduction process. Thus with the casing having been closed the cellular phone can download or reproduce data.
