  • Patent number: 7228115
Abstract: A phase rotation unit rotates the phase of a digital received signal in accordance with a correction signal from a correction determination unit. An FWT computation unit subjects a CCK modulated signal to FWT computation and outputs Walsh transform values FWT. A maximum value searching unit receives Walsh transform values FWT and selects one of them by referring to the magnitude thereof. In accordance with the selected Walsh transform value FWT, the maximum value searching unit outputs a ?1 signal and a ? component signal, the ?1 signal corresponding to the signal prior to ?1 differential detection and the ? component signal being a combination of ?2 through ?4. A ?1 demodulation unit subjects the ?1 signal to differential detection so as to generate ?1. A second phase error detection unit 56 detects a phase error in accordance with an output signal from the ?1 demodulation unit.

  • Publication number: 20060008036
Abstract: One correlation value is selected with high accuracy from among a plurality of correlation values which have been subjected to Walsh transform. A Fast Walsh Transform (FWT) computing unit performs an FWT computation on CCK-modulated signals and outputs 64 Walsh transform values. A maximum value search unit inputs 64 Walsh transform values, and then based on the magnitude thereof it outputs a first phase correlation value signal and a first phase index signal both corresponding to one FWT value. A second phase signal derivation unit inputs the first phase index signal and outputs a second phase index signal and a second phase correlation value signal. A phase signal determining unit performs differential detection on the first phase correlation value signal and the second phase correlation value signal, respectively, for the signals which have already been outputted.

  • Publication number: 20050213642
Abstract: A second phase rotation unit rotates a signal equalized by an equalizer by a phase error detected by a second phase error detection unit. A decision unit partitions a phase plane into a plurality of sub-areas in accordance with phases to which CCK modulated signals are assigned. The decision unit identifies a sub-area corresponding to an output signal from the second phase rotation unit, and thereby converts the output signal from the second phase rotation unit into a value corresponding to the identified sub-area. An FWT transform unit subjects the value resulting from conversion in the decision unit to FWT computation so as to output a Walsh transform value FWT. A maximum value searching unit receives 64 Walsh transform values FWT and selects one Walsh transform value by referring to the magnitude thereof.

  • Patent number: 6366866
Abstract: In a coordinates detecting apparatus including a tablet for detecting X and Y coordinates and a correcting circuit for correcting the X and Y coordinates detected from the tablet, a parameter used for correcting the X coordinate and a parameter used for correcting the Y coordinate are adjustable independent from each other. More specifically, time constant of a CR filter circuit for the X coordinate and time constant of the CR filter circuit for the Y coordinate can be adjusted independent from each other. Further, numbers of A/D conversion, threshold values, number of samples and so on for the X and Y coordinates can be set independent from each other. As a result, in the coordinates detecting apparatus, noises in X and Y coordinates can be optimally removed, allowing detection of X and Y coordinates with high accuracy.

  • Publication number: 20020035692
Abstract: A cellular phone in the form of a shell downloads and reproduces encrypted content data distributed from a distribution server. The cellular phone includes a detection unit detecting whether its casing in the form of the shell is open/closed. If with the cellular phone currently downloading or reproducing encrypted content data its casing in the form of the shell is closed, a controller controls a power supply unit to supply power required for completing the download process or the reproduction process. Thus if the casing is closed the cellular phone still can complete the download or reproduction process. Thus with the casing having been closed the cellular phone can download or reproduce data.

  • Publication number: 20020034302
Abstract: A remote controller is connected to a cellular phone. A memory card is loaded in the remote controller. A headphone is connected to the remote controller. The cellular phone receives encrypted content data and a license key used to decrypt the encrypted content data from a distribution server and transmits the encrypted content data and license key to the remote controller. The remote controller records the received license key and encrypted content data into a memory card. The remote controller reads out and reproduces the license key and encrypted content data from the memory card for output to the headphone. Thus, a data terminal device of high usability that allows the user to easily obtain and reproduce the desired data can be provided.
