    Abstract: A rectifying device comprising a pair of electrodes, and a carrier transporter consisting of one or more of carbon nanotubes provided between the pair of electrodes wherein high frequency response and heat resistance of the carrier transporter are enhanced by differentiating two connection structures such that the barrier level between one electrode and the first interface of the carrier transporter is different from the barrier level between the other electrode and the second interface of the carrier transporter. An electronic circuit employing such a rectifying device and a process for producing the rectifying device are also provided.
