The organic light emitting layer is provided between the transparent electrode and the metal electrode and is configured to emit light including a wavelength component of the visible light. The intermediate layer contacts the metal electrode and the organic light emitting layer between the organic light emitting layer and the metal electrode and is transmissive with respect to the visible light. A thickness of the intermediate layer is 60 nanometers or more and less than 200 nanometers. A refractive index of the organic light emitting layer to the visible light is higher than a refractive index of the intermediate layer to the visible light.
