  • Publication number: 20200156416
Abstract: A tire includes, in a tread portion, a pair of shoulder main grooves, a crown region between the shoulder main grooves, and shoulder regions disposed outside of the shoulder main grooves in a tire axial direction. Land ratios of the crown region and the shoulder regions are respectively 40%-60%. In the crown region, a plurality of middle blocks are arranged on both sides of a tire equator, and each middle block has a longitudinal shape in which a length in the tire circumferential direction is larger than a length in the tire axial direction.

  • Publication number: 20200002928
Abstract: To provide a toilet bowl device allowing bubbles to be discharged with ease even in a case where a bowl is supplied with the bubbles. In a toilet bowl device, a control unit executes a pre-jet washing step for bubbles of supplying wash water to a bowl via a jet discharge port and a pre-rim washing step for bubbles of supplying wash water to the bowl via a rim discharge port after the pre-jet washing step for bubbles is initiated in a case where bubbles are present on a stored water surface.

  • Publication number: 20190087063
Abstract: For efficient presentation of pseudo force sense, a pseudo force sense generation apparatus includes: a base mechanism; and a contact mechanism that performs periodical asymmetric motion relative to the base mechanism and gives force based on the asymmetric motion to skin or mucous membrane with which the contact mechanism is in direct or indirect contact. A mass of the contact mechanism is smaller than a mass of the base mechanism, or the mass of the contact mechanism is smaller than a sum of the mass of the base mechanism and a mass of a mechanism that is attached to the base mechanism.

  • Patent number: 4652121
Abstract: A moving body measuring instrument is disclosed which projects, from predetermined locations thereof, a plurality of beams of light at predetermined angles into a same plane, receives, at predetermined locations thereof, the beams reflected from a moving body as it moves to intersect with the beams, calculates parameters of the motion of the moving body in accordance with predetermined operation from timing data of the beams received, and indicates the results of the calculations on an indicator. The moving body has a light reflective member provided thereon which reflects a beam for measurement toward a direction incident thereto irrespective of its incident angle, and substantially same locations are provided at which beams are projected and received.

  • Patent number: 4583733
Abstract: A batting practice trainer includes a laser oscillator placed in a sensor unit configured to resemble a home plate. Three beams are emitted from the sensor unit in a predetermined pattern, so that the height, speed, and angle of elevation of a swinging bat may be calculated from the passage of the bat across the beams. This is accomplished without interferring with the batters' swing or substantially modifying the bat.
