Patent number: 11835305Abstract: The present invention discloses an openable and closeable condensing apparatus, which is particularly applied in a two-phase liquid immersion cooling system. When servers start to operate, a large amount of heat will be dissipated from servers. The coolant is vaporized into a rising coolant vapor by absorbing heat dissipated from servers. Upon contact with a condenser, the coolant vapor is condensed back into a cooling liquid that is returned to the coolant-containing tank. By the heat exchange cycle in which heat dissipated from serves is absorbed by the coolant, servers can be maintained at a normal working temperature. However, in the process of condensation, the rising coolant vapor tends to scatter in all directions resulting in a failure to condense all of the coolant vapor. Therefore, the uncondensed coolant vapor will cause the pressure in the system to gradually rise, which eventually leads to an ineffective cooling of servers.Type: GrantFiled: June 17, 2021Date of Patent: December 5, 2023Inventors: Fang-Shou Lee, Cho-Han Lee

Patent number: 11828548Abstract: The present invention discloses a two-phase immersion-cooling micro-grooved boiler, which is mainly used for heat dissipation of heat generating objects. The boiler comprises a heat transfer member and a capillary layer positioned in tight contact with a surface of the heat transfer member. The capillary layer has an array of micro-grooves which divides the capillary layer into a plurality of heat dissipating units. The bottom surface of the micro-grooves is coated with a thermal resistance layer. While the boiler operates, the working liquid can flow into the heat dissipating units from the sidewall of the micro-grooves without being blocked from contact with the heat transfer member by boiling-triggered bubbles. As a result, dry-out of the heat transfer member can be avoided, thereby improving the heat exchange efficiency of the boiler and the flow-back rate of the working fluid.Type: GrantFiled: September 6, 2021Date of Patent: November 28, 2023Inventors: Fang-Shou Lee, Cho-Han Lee

Publication number: 20230070292Abstract: A rinse-off hair treatment product with a multi-chamber tube package that can contain a dual-phase rinse-off hair treatment composition that can provide a warming sensation and hair conditioning. The multi-chamber tube package can be a tube-in-tube package with an outer tube with an outer chamber that contains a conditioning composition and an inner tube with an inner chamber that contains a warming composition. The inner chamber is fluidly connected to one or more central orifices by an inner nozzle channel and the outer channel is fluidly connected to one or more outer orifices by an outer channel. The ratio of the area of the central orifice(s) to the outer orifice(s) can be greater than 1. The ratios can help the product dispense as a single stream with two visible phases, which has been found to prompt the consumer to intuitively mix the composition, thereby activating a warming sensation.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 23, 2022Publication date: March 9, 2023Inventors: Michele Tsu Fern Chua, Chern Ping Goh, Rong He, Qiao Li, Marcus Tay Jing Wen, Martin Chang Shou Lee, Jun Ji Zhang

Patent number: 11589483Abstract: The present invention discloses a three-chambered constant pressure apparatus for liquid immersion cooling of servers. The apparatus comprises a housing within which two partitions are disposed. The two partitions divide the housing into a first chamber, a second chamber and a third chamber. A coolant is maintained within the first chamber, and an isolating liquid is maintained within the second chamber and the third chamber. At least one heat-generating device is submerged within the coolant maintained within the first chamber. During the operation of a server, a coolant is heated to a boiling point temperature generating a coolant vapor that causes the pressure in chambers to rise. By adjusting the air pressure in chambers prior to use, the rising pressure in chambers caused by the coolant vapor can be efficiently relieved.Type: GrantFiled: August 16, 2021Date of Patent: February 21, 2023Inventors: Fang-Shou Lee, Cho-Han Lee
