  • Publication number: 20190052886
Abstract: A combined prediction mode for encoding or decoding a pixel block of a video picture is provided. When it is determined that the combined prediction mode is used, a video codec generates an intra predictor for the current block based on a selected intra-prediction mode and a merge-indexed predictor for the current block based on a selected merge candidate from a merge candidates list. The video codec then generates a final predictor for the current block based on the intra predictor and the merge-indexed predictor. The final predictor is then used to encode or decode the current block.

  • Publication number: 20180302631
Abstract: A method and apparatus related to secondary transform operations. In which, the non-zero transform coefficients in a particular subset of the transform coefficients of the block of pixels is counted and compared with a particular threshold so as to determine whether or not to perform the secondary transform on the block of pixels. Besides, the optimal secondary transform kernel size is derived implicitly based on the size of the block, or derived explicitly based on a flag coded by using an adaptive code word.

  • Publication number: 20180288439
Abstract: An efficient signaling method for multiple transforms to further improve coding performance is provided. Rather than using code words that are assigned to different transforms in a predetermined and fixed manner, different transform modes are mapped into different code words dynamically. A predetermined procedure is used to assign the code words to the different transform modes. A cost is computed for each candidate transform mode and the transform mode with the smallest cost is chosen as the predicted transform mode, and the chosen predicted transform mode is assigned the shortest code word.

  • Patent number: 8829850
Abstract: An interactive charging management system and a method thereof are provided. The present method includes following steps. A leakage event is detected when an electric vehicle is connected with a charging post. When the leakage event is not detected, the charging post is controlled to enter a charging state from a ready state, so as to continuously supply a charging power to the electric vehicle until the electric vehicle is completely charged. When the leakage event is detected, the charging post is controlled to stop supplying the charging power to the electric vehicle, and the electric vehicle is indicated to go offline, so as to perform a leakage test and determine whether to resume the ready state. When the charging post cannot resume the ready state, a service notice is issued to notify a curing unit to process.

  • Publication number: 20050118882
Abstract: An electrical connector latching apparatus comprises a supporting arm, a latching pivot formed at top portion of the supporting arm, an elastic arm formed at lower portion of the supporting arm, a base arm extending from the lower portion of the elastic arm and a free contact extending vertically from the base arm. A smooth curved surface forms at top portion of the latching pivot and a fixed support portion forms at bottom portion of the latching pivot. The smooth curved surface consists of at least two surfaces having different curvature, thereby the latching pivot slides into a pivot hole of the mated connector neatly. The latching pivot has an indentation-curved surface at its bottom to define the fixed support portion. An angle between the fixed support portion and the supporting arm is a special angle, so that the fixed support portion latches a mated connector firmly. Further the electrical connector contacts with the mated connector electrically and reliably.

  • Patent number: 6074786
Abstract: A reticle, for use in a stepper, and a method for using the reticle are provided. The reticle is used in performing the method for inspecting for the leveling of the reticle with respect to a semiconductor wafer being exposed by the stepper. Reticle alignment marks are used to measure reticle leveling by determining the degree of resolution at several sites on the semiconductor workpiece. The reticle can be patterned with a plurality of sets of alignment marks having an array of blocks which are in focus at different focal lengths. The alignment marks include marks located proximate to the corners of the reticle and proximate to the center of the reticle. Microscope measurements are made to determine the focal length at each set of alignment marks. Reticle pitch is determined at each workpiece position from the focal lengths measured at each alignment mark. The leveling can be checked repeatedly to obtain information for producing optimum focus of the reticle image on the workpiece.
