In some implementations, a method includes providing a grid view in a user interface, where the grid view displays media content items that have been shared in a network. The method also includes providing a gallery view in response to a user selecting a media content item among the media content items in the grid view, where the gallery view displays the selected media content item. The method also includes providing a share menu view in response to the user selecting a re-share button, where the share menu view displays options for sharing the selected media content item. The method also includes providing a comment view, where the comment view enables the user to comment on the selected media content item. The method also includes re-sharing the selected media content item to other users.

In some aspects method can further include operations for providing an activity recommendation to the user based on the peer information and the activity information, wherein the activity recommendation includes a suggestion of at least one activity that can be conducted by the user with the media system. Systems and computer-readable media are also provided.

The present invention is able to monitor and detect when the various interruptions in the real-world occur. Based on the type and assigned importance of the interruption, a corresponding in-game reaction can be provided to the user to inform the user of the interruption. Depending on the importance of the real-world interruption, instructions can also be generated for the user device associated with the game. These instructions can allow the user to step away from the game without causing an interruption with other players playing within the same game.

A customized view is generated based on a parameter-to-parameter comparison. The criteria for the parameter-to-parameter comparison include a plurality of parameters that are dynamically updated based on gameplay activities of the first user on the first electronic device and the one or more other users on the one or more other electronic devices. Display of the generated customized view may be controlled on the first electronic device based on a defined setting.

    Abstract: A gaming server and method for generating context-aware gaming information are disclosed, which includes receipt of a view request from a first gaming device associated with a first user, by the gaming server. The view request includes a request to view a gaming profile of a second user. Based on the received view request, one or more circuits of the gaming server detects an entry point event from a plurality of defined entry point events to access the gaming profile of the second user. The one or more circuits are configured to generate context-aware gaming information of the second user based on the detected entry point event on the first gaming device. This invention can be applied illustratively to gaming machines and the like each composed of a gaming machine body and its controller.
