  • Publication number: 20080129120
Abstract: A device for controlling a single-phase power conditioner for a renewable energy system. The device comprises: a power system, providing alternating current (AC) utility power; a renewable energy system, using a natural resource so as to generate direct current (DC) power; a DC-to-DC converter, accepting the DC power generated by the renewable energy system so as to convert an input DC voltage of the DC power to an output DC voltage at a voltage level different from the DC input voltage; a grid-tied power conditioner, transforming voltage levels of the AC power and DC power; a controller, issuing a control signal for controlling the grid-tied power conditioner; and a load, consuming electricity by way of the grid-tied power conditioner.

  • Publication number: 20080116850
Abstract: This present invention provides a bridge battery voltage equalizer to equalize the voltages of the serially connected battery strings, comprising at least one battery crossing over an energy-transferring circuit. A plurality of the energy-transferring circuits are interconnected in a bridge architecture. Each energy-transferring circuit having four nodes comprises a first semiconductor switch, a first diode, a second semiconductor switch, a second diode, and an inductor. One end of the first element switch is connected to a negative pole of the first diode thereto. A positive pole of the second diode is connected to one end of the second element switch thereto. The inductor is an energy storing element that crosses over between the negative pole of the first diode and the positive pole of the second diode.

  • Publication number: 20070164539
Abstract: A detachable wheelchair for the disabled people is provided. The wheelchair is composed of a seat, a right wheel frame, and a left wheel frame. The seat is composed of a seat frame and a seat cushion. Two hollow shafts and one fixing nut are installed on the left-hand and right-hand side of the seat frame respectively. Two positioning shafts and one fixing bolt are arranged on the right and left wheel frame respectively. The positioning shafts on the wheel frames can be inserted into the hollow shafts on the seat frame, and the bolts can be screwed into the nuts. After the left and right wheel frames are fixed firmly onto the seat frame, they are assembled into a wheelchair.

  • Publication number: 20060145662
Abstract: The present invention provides a hierarchical battery potential equalizing device to equalize the voltage of a plurality of serial batteries. The batteries are divided into a plurality of groups, one potential equalizer is provided for each group to make potential equalization among batteries, and at least one potential equalizer is provided for different groups to make potential equalization among groups. Wherein the potential equalizers have a hierarchical architecture, the first level of potential equalizers of the hierarchical architecture are respectively corresponding to one group to make potential equalization, and the other levels of potential equalizers make potential equalization among groups.

  • Patent number: 7049791
Abstract: A battery energy balance circuit and a battery charging bypass circuit is disclosed for batteries being charged at the same time to be charged equally. When the terminal voltages of the batteries are different, a controllable power device switch in the circuit switches on and off at a high frequency in order to reduce the input current to the batteries with higher terminal voltages and to increase the input current to the batteries with lower terminal voltages, achieving the goal of equal charging. The disclosed energy balance circuit can avoid damages to the batteries as a result of overcharging. When the number of batteries increases, one can expand the system in a modularized way to prevent inconvenience of circuit designs.

  • Patent number: 5694786
Abstract: A retrieving system for condensed water of air conditioning system, which will collect condensed water produced air conditioning system operation for utilization; which will collect condensed water produced during operation of air conditioning system via condensed water pipe into reservoir, and filtering net will filter out dirt when condensed water flowing into reservoir, when water level inside reservoir reaches preset level, float ball switch will turn on pump outside of the reservoir automatically, which will pump cool condensed water from reservoir into cooling tower, when water level of reservoir lowered to lower limit, float ball switch will turn off pump automatically, in this way we can get cyclic turn-on and turn-off operation to save electricity and water of air conditioning system simultaneously.
