Abstract: The present invention relates to a multi-capillary force curve averaging method based on the overall virtual measurement of a plurality of samples. The method includes the following steps: 1, taking m types of rock samples, obtaining a capillary force-saturation curve, an apparent volume and a porosity of each sample; 2, inspecting the quality of the capillary force-saturation curve of each sample and preprocessing the end points of each curve; 3, calculating an averaged wet phase saturation corresponding to different capillary force values of the plurality of samples under the overall virtual measurement of a plurality of samples; and 4, denoting data points on a graph by using the wet phase saturation as the abscissa and capillary force as the ordinate, and finally connecting all data points smoothly to obtain the averaged capillary force curve.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a composition which is for preventing or treating bone diseases and includes CCR2 as an active ingredient. It was confirmed that a C—C chemokine receptor type 2 (CCR2) protein, a polynucleotide encoding the CCR2 protein, or a mesenchymal stem cell transduced with the CCR2 according to the present invention neutralize bone disease factor MCP-1, thereby reducing the collagen epitope (CTX-II) and collagen metabolism factors (MMP1 and MMP3) relating to collagen absorption in the body. In addition, it was confirmed that the expression of the SOX9 gene and anti-inflammatory cytokines (TGF-? and IL-10) related to cartilage differentiation was significantly increased. Thus, the present invention has excellent regenerative ability against osteoarthritis and excellent pain suppression and alleviation effects, and thus can be effectively used for preventing or treating bone diseases such as osteoarthritis.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method, system and computer program product for detecting feature traits from an imbalanced dataset. A first regression model is built based on a simulated dataset to compute contribution scores for the features to make a target a positive case. A variance in the features' original values for each feature of the first set of features (those features with contribution scores for positive cases that exceed a threshold value) between the positive and negative cases is determined. A second regression model is built to calculate a predictor importance value for a second set of features (features from the first set of features with a variance in their original values for both positive and negative cases that exceeds a threshold value). Feature traits are then extracted from a group of clustered positive cases with features of the second set of features containing a predictor importance value exceeding a threshold value.

The composition according to the present invention is effective in inhibiting the expression of muscle atrophy-associated key transcription factors, such as FoxO3 and MuRF-1, and is expected to be effectively used in muscle atrophy, various diseases caused thereby, muscle aging, undernourished patients, growing children and the elderly.

For instance, redundant connections for a call event of a wireless device are established via different call types and utilized to exchange call media of the call event. In at least some implementations, call media from the different call types is combined to provide a combined media stream for output as part of the call event. Thus, techniques for multiple call types for a call event are applicable to increase call quality in different scenarios and environments, such as in situations where a primary call connection experiences an anomaly condition that causes quality call degradation.
