  • Patent number: 10250250
Abstract: The trend in wireless communication receivers is to capture more and more bandwidth to support higher throughput, and to directly sample the radio frequency (RF) signal to enable re-configurability and lower cost. Other applications like instrumentation also demand the ability to digitize wide bandwidth RF signals. These applications benefit from input circuitry which can perform well with high speed, wide bandwidth RF signals. An input buffer and bootstrapped switch are designed to service such applications, and can be implemented in 28 nm complementary metal-oxide (CMOS) technology.

  • Publication number: 20190087311
Abstract: An online system ranks test cases run in connection with check-in of sets of software files in a software repository. The online system ranks the test cases higher if they are more likely to fail as a result of defects in the set of files being checked in. Accordingly, the online system informs software developers of potential defects in the files being checked in early without having to run the complete suite of test cases. The online system determines a vector representation of the files and test cases based on a neural network. The online system determines an aggregate vector representation of the set of files. The online system determines a measure of similarity between the test cases and the aggregate vector representation of the set of files. The online system ranks the test cases based on the measures of similarity of the test cases.

  • Patent number: 10234288
Abstract: A BAW gyroscope is configured to operate with two pairs of orthogonal modes instead of a single pair in order to mitigate the impact of changes in gaps (e.g., introduced from external stresses such as thermal gradients, external shocks, mechanical stress/torque, etc.). Specifically, the BAW gyroscope resonator is configured to be simultaneously driven to resonate with a two disparate resonant modes (referred to herein as the “fundamental” mode and the “compound” mode), with the same set of drive electrodes used to drive both resonant modes (i.e., all of the drive electrodes are used to drive the two drive modes). When the sensor experiences external rotation, energy couples from the driven modes of vibration to two corresponding orthogonal sense modes via the Coriolis force. The same set of sense electrodes is used to sense both sense modes (i.e., all of the sense electrodes are used to sense the two sense modes).

  • Publication number: 20190081912
Abstract: The disclosure provides an approach for managing and diagnosing middleboxes in a cloud computing system. In one embodiment, a network operations center, that is located remote to a virtualized cloud computing system and communicates with the cloud computing system via a wide area network, controls network middleboxes in the cloud computing system through a secure routing module inside a gateway of the cloud computing system. The secure routing module is configured to receive, from an authenticated management application and via a secure communication channel, packets intended for managing network middleboxes. In turn, the secure routing module establishes secure communication channels with the target middleboxes, translates the identified packets to protocols and/or application programming interfaces (APIs) of the target middleboxes, and transmits the translated packets to the target middleboxes.
