  • Publication number: 20190004488
Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure enable contextual user experiences to be provided. A computing system receives sensor data from an appliance associated with a first user account, and analyzes the sensor data to identify a product and one or more second user accounts associated with the product. The second user accounts are used to aggregate product data associated with the product, and the product data is used to generate catalog data associated with the product. The catalog data includes one or more portions associated with the second user accounts and is transmitted to a client device associated with the first user account to prompt a first user to enter into a transaction associated with the product. Each portion of the catalog data is selectable to facilitate the transaction between the first user and a respective second user associated with the second user accounts.

  • Publication number: 20190004821
Abstract: Examples of the present disclosure describe systems and methods for command input using robust input parameters. In an example, a collaborative communication service may provide one or more commands that may be used to perform actions, retrieve information, or access other functionality. A user may use a command by providing an input comprising a trigger. Based on the trigger, a command may be identified, wherein the command may comprise one or more parameters. An input field may be generated for a parameter of the command, such that a user may enter information for the parameter. Once user input has been received, the received input may be validated according to validation logic associated with the parameter. If validation is successful, user input for a subsequent parameter may be requested, or the command may be submitted for processing. Ultimately, a processing result may be determined based on received user input.

  • Patent number: 10169389
Abstract: A computer system identifies an information set stored at a data store. The computer system then identifies first metadata that includes first instructions indicating how the information set is to present a plurality of data items, and second pre-existing metadata that includes second instructions indicating how the information set is to present the plurality of data items. The computer system determines that a portion of the first metadata will override a portion of the second metadata, to create combined metadata. The computer system provides the combined metadata to the information set, including combining the second metadata with the first metadata by at least overriding the second instructions of the second metadata with the first instructions of the first metadata. The computer system presents the plurality of data items in accordance with the second metadata, at least as modified by the first instructions of the first metadata.

  • Patent number: 10172075
Abstract: A method and system for scanning for target coverage in order of signal strength threshold. In a wireless communication system that defines a plurality of wireless coverage areas, a user equipment device (UE) may seek to select one of the coverage areas in which to operate. Each coverage area may have a respective downlink receive signal strength threshold (DSST) defining a minimum downlink receive signal strength for triggering UE selection of the coverage area. While operating in the wireless communication system, the UE may be arranged to rank-order the coverage areas in order of their respective DSSTs so as to define a sequence of the coverage areas. The UE may be arranged to then scan the coverage areas in order of the defined sequence, in search of a coverage area to select to operate in.

  • Patent number: 10171215
Abstract: Disclosed are methods and systems for segregating user equipment devices (UEs) among carriers to help facilitate operation in lean-carrier mode in which a base station (BS) engages in a reduced extent of reference signaling on a particular carrier. In practice, the BS may operate in the lean-carrier mode when bearer data is not being communicated on the particular carrier. Given this arrangement, the BS may identify one or more UEs, of a plurality of UEs served by the BS, based on each UE communicating bearer data less frequently than a threshold frequency of bearer data communication. And the BS may serve just the identified UEs on the particular carrier, thereby increasing a probability of the BS operating in the lean-carrier mode.

  • Patent number: 10172029
Abstract: A method and system for a base station to manage air interface communications with a wireless client device (WCD) served by the base station, taking into account whether the WCD is a relay-WCD that provides wireless backhaul connectivity for a relay base station. The base station will determine whether the served WCD is a relay-WCD, and based on a determination that the served WCD is a relay-WCD, the base station will responsively invoke a process to help expedite air interface communications with the served WCD, in an effort to reduce the total delay resulting from the wireless relay arrangement. In particular, based on the served WCD being a relay-WCD, and perhaps based on the relay-WCD facilitating a threshold extent of delay-sensitive communication, the base station will invoke transmission time interval (TTI) bundling, to help expedite the air interface communications between the base station and the relay-WCD.

  • Patent number: 10161999
Abstract: Approaches for capturing states of signals of a circuit-under-test are disclosed. A logic analyzer circuit is coupled to the circuit-under-test and is configured to receive a plurality of probe signals and a plurality of trigger signals from the circuit-under-test. The logic analyzer circuit inputs data identifying a subset of the probe signals and a subset of the trigger signals. The logic analyzer circuit selects the subset of trigger signals for input to trigger logic and selects the subset of probe signals in the logic analyzer circuit after the logic analyzer circuit and the circuit-under-test are active. The logic analyzer circuit samples states of the subset of probe signals in response to the trigger logic and stores the sampled states of the subset of probe signals in a memory.

  • Patent number: 10164559
Abstract: An electric power system includes a polyphase electric machine, battery pack, power inverter module, analog input sensor, and diagnostic controller executing a method. The sensor measures an electrical parameter that differs from a true value of the parameter by an initial offset value. The controller collects sample sets of the parameter, compares the initial offset of each sample to an outlier threshold in a first diagnostic loop, and transmits a bit flag indicative of an outlier sample to a slower second diagnostic loop when the initial offset of a sample exceeds the outlier threshold. The second control loop calculates a rolling average of the initial offsets of the sample sets, discards the set containing the outlier sample in response to the bit flag, and executes a control action when the average exceeds a threshold that is lower than the outlier threshold.

  • Publication number: 20180365091
Abstract: An online system identifies an assignment for a computer program error indicated in an error message by applying an assignment model to token sequences identified in the error message. The error message includes a sequence of execution paths of the computer program. Each execution path indicates a function call active in computer memory when the error was generated. In other words, the error message allows tracking of the sequence of nested paths up to the point where the error was generated. In one example, the error message is a stack trace message that reports active stack frames in computer memory during the execution of the program.

  • Publication number: 20180360633
Abstract: A delivery system for delivering an endovascular prosthesis is disclosed. A handle assembly is disposed at the distal end of the delivery system. The handle assembly includes a main handle and a second handle disposed at least partially on the main handle and rotationally moveable relative to the main handle. A trigger wire release mechanism is operatively coupled to the second handle. A sheath is operatively coupled to the second handle, such that rotation of the second handle relative to the main handle retracts the sheath in a distal direction. Rotation of the handle also moves the trigger wire release mechanism from a first position to a second position to retract one or more trigger wires.
