  • Publication number: 20170289354
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide a system and method in which allocation and management of shared virtual numbers is achieved. In an embodiment, a request is received from an external server, over a network, for allocation and de-allocation of virtual numbers among agents and customers. Thereafter, a first virtual number is allocated and mapped between a first agent and a first customer, and the same first virtual number is also allocated and mapped between a second agent and a second customer. Such allocation and mapping enables communication between corresponding agents and customers. In addition to the allocation, a number may also be de-allocated. For example, the first virtual number mapping between the first agent and first customer can be de-allocated, thereby deactivating the first virtual number for a predetermined time, during which time the first virtual number is not allocated to another combination of a customer and an agent.

  • Patent number: 9778658
Abstract: A method and apparatus for associating a person with a portion of transportation network information based on vehicle operating information are described. The information includes a plurality of destinations. First vehicle operating information for a vehicle is identified, which information includes a first plurality of vehicle operations occurring during a first plurality of time windows. First values for a plurality of features are extracted from the first plurality of vehicle operations. A portion of the vehicle transportation network is associated with an owner/operator of the vehicle based on the first values. For consecutive time windows thereafter, second values for the features are extracted from second vehicle operating information for the vehicle that includes a second plurality of vehicle operations occurring during the consecutive time windows. Based on changes, a determination can be made as to whether an identity of the person associated with the vehicle has changed over time.

  • Publication number: 20170279449
Abstract: A semiconductor device includes a low voltage region, a high voltage region monolithically integrated with the low voltage region in a semiconductor substrate, where the low voltage region is electrically coupled to the high voltage region through a capacitive isolation barrier, where the high voltage region is structurally isolated from the low voltage region by an isolation structure. The isolation structure includes a junction termination structure, a deep trench structure, or a reduced surface field (RESURF) structure. The isolation structure forms an isolation ring substantially enclosing the high voltage region in the semiconductor substrate. The low voltage region is configured to provide a differential signal to the high voltage region through the capacitive isolation barrier. The high voltage region is configured to receive a differential signal from the low voltage region through the capacitive isolation barrier so as to level shift the differential signal.

  • Publication number: 20170280422
Abstract: A wireless communication device (UE) conducting wireless communications according to a specified radio access technology (RAT) in a first communications band belonging to a first network may be required to switch to a different communications band due to network restrictions and/or radio link failure. The UE may therefore perform a system scan identifying other communications bands associated with the first RAT and available at the present location of the UE. The UE may identify whether the other communications bands include preferred communications bands belonging to the first network, support a service associated with the wireless communications of the UE, and have an energy level higher than a specified threshold. If one or more preferred communications bands are present, the UE may switch communications from the first communications band to one of the preferred communications bands, even if it doesn't have the highest energy level among all the other communications bands.

  • Patent number: 9773474
Abstract: A content item to be displayed via a display of an electronic device may be associated with a first set of grey values or a set of color values. The electronic device may generate, maintain, or at least have access to one or more mappings that map the set of color values and/or the first set of grey values to a second set of grey values. Based on the one or more mappings, the electronic device may convert a color value of the set of color values or a first grey value of the first set of grey values to a second grey value of the second set of grey values. The content item may then be displayed utilizing the second grey value.

  • Publication number: 20170254828
Abstract: A flow angle probe is provided having (a) a probe flap for contacting a moving fluid within a fluid conduit; (b) a probe body mechanically coupled to the probe flap; (c) a force sensor disposed within the probe body and operationally coupled to the probe flap; and optionally (d) a probe shaft coupled to the probe body. A deflection of the probe flap caused by contact with the moving fluid produces a corresponding force sensor signal output which is minimized by rotation of the probe flap. The angle between this point of minimum deflection and a reference position is taken to be the flow angle of the moving fluid in the vicinity of the probe flap. The novel flow angle probes disclosed herein may be used in a wide variety of turbomachines and fluid processing systems, and applications, including turbomachine design and operational control, and in flow assurance.
