  • Patent number: 12156238
Abstract: Systems and methods for user equipment (UE) capable of performing sidelink (SL) communications that account for overlapped SL resource pools of multiple radio access technologies (RATs) are disclosed. A UE may select, based on prioritizing non-overlapped resources over overlapped resources, one or more candidate resources and/or one or more transmission resources; may determine a power control configuration without considering SL pathloss corresponding to a first RAT when a second power control configuration determination for a second RAT does not consider SL pathloss; may select physical sidelink feedback channel (PSFCH) locations for PSFCH use from first PSFCH locations of resources of a first SL resource pool on a first RAT that do not overlap with a second SL resource pool on a second RAT according to a bitmap; and/or may select one of a PSFCH transmission and PSFCH reception using a data priority rule and/or a pool sharing rule.

  • Patent number: 12150127
Abstract: A user equipment (UE) is configured to handle physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmissions during multi-transmission/reception point (TRP) operation. The UE receives a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) transmission configured with downlink control information (DCI) in a single-DCI, multi-transmission/reception point (TRP) operation, wherein the DCI schedules reception of a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmission, determines whether or not a TCI field is configured in the DCI, when the TCI field is not configured in the DCI, determining a default beam based on a control resource set (CORESET) with the lowest ID in the PDCCH and when the TCI field is configured in the DCI, determining whether the TCI field indicates a TCI codepoint includes two TCI states.

  • Patent number: 12149306
Abstract: Systems and methods disclosed herein use channel state information (CSI) reports from a user equipment (UE) having additional CSI beyond CSI directly derived according to a current MIMO configuration between a base station and the UE. In some embodiments, a channel quality indicator (CQI) according to a selected layer of a plurality of layers used to receive the MIMO transmission as determined relative to the MIMO transmission is reported. In some embodiments, a precoding matrix indicator (PMI) according to a selected layer of a plurality of layers useable to receive rank 1 transmissions is reported along with a CQI determined according to that layer, or according to a layer used to receive the MIMO transmission as determined relative to the MIMO transmission. • Publication number: 20240381256
Abstract: Systems, methods, processors, and circuitries are provided for configuring, transmitting, receiving and processing single frequency network wake-up signals. In one example a user equipment (UE) includes a radio frequency (RF) transceiver and a baseband processor. The baseband processor is configured to, when executing instructions stored in a memory, cause the UE to receive, via the RF transceiver, a wake-up signal (WUS). The WUS is transmitted by a plurality of cells in a WUS single frequency network (SFN) and each cell of the plurality of cells transmits the WUS in identical time and frequency resources. Based on the received WUS, the baseband processor causes the UE to configure one or more components of the UE to receive a subsequent signal.

  • Patent number: 12143995
Abstract: Some aspects of this disclosure relate to apparatuses and methods for implementing techniques for a user equipment (UE) to transmit a configured grant (CG) physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) including an uplink control information (UCI) without transmitting a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH). The UE determines, based on a configuration received from the base station, a first set of CG PUSCHs. Each CG PUSCH of the first set of CG PUSCHs overlaps with the PUCCH, and is configured to transmit data from the UE to the base station. The UE further determines a second set of CG PUSCHs by excluding a third set of CG PUSCHs from the first set of CG PUSCHs. and select a CG PUSCH from the second set of CG PUSCHs to carry the UCI contained in the PUCCH. The UE further transmits the selected CG PUSCH including the UCI without transmitting the PUCCH.
