  • Publication number: 20080237287
Abstract: A biodegradable disposable paper rucksack comprises a main body (10, 20) closable by folding or by a lid (16) and supportable on a user's back by continuous or split straps (24) comprising a possible carrying device (28) and cross straps (30). The main body (10) can be directly supported or held by gravity within a nest of straps (88, 90, 92, 94, 96). Split straps (24) can be joined by buckles (36, 40, 42, 44) slots (54) velcro (58, 60) sticky tape (62), string (70) and buttons (68), and string (70) and string (70). Continuous straps (24) can be shortened by fold over portions (72, 74) affixable to themselves. Straps can be affirmed to themselves by means of velcro (58, 60), sticky tape (62), glue (64, 82), staples and clips (66). Straps (24) can be affirmed to the main body (10) by means of stick tape (62), glue (64, 82), sewing, and staples. Straps (24, 98) are strengthened by longitudinal folding and affixing to self. The main body (10) can comprise lifting handles (76, 100).

  • Publication number: 20080104131
Abstract: A method and system for synchronizing direct access storage volumes designated as managed by storage management software with direct access storage volumes available to a computer system. An identifier of a volume is provided. The volume is connected to and available to a computer system, and is not managed by storage management software. A best fit between the identifier and generic identification patterns is determined based on ratings. The database record that includes the best fitting identification pattern is identified. Management options that facilitate managing the volume by the storage management software are retrieved from the database record. The volume is automatically added to a set of volumes being managed by the storage management software. The adding of the volume includes designating the volume as being managed by the storage management software and providing the management options to the storage management software.

  • Publication number: 20080104317
Abstract: A system and computer program product for synchronizing direct access storage volumes designated as managed by storage management software with direct access storage volumes available to a computer system. An identifier of a volume is provided. The volume is connected to and available to a computer system, and is not managed by storage management software. The identifier is matched with an identification pattern included in a record of a database accessible to the computer system. Management options that facilitate managing the volume by the storage management software, and that are included in the record are retrieved from the record. The volume is automatically added to a set of volumes being managed by the storage management software. The adding of the volume includes designating the volume as being managed by the storage management software and providing the management options to the storage management software.

  • Publication number: 20060003155
Abstract: Composite core stiffened structures are two panels, such as fiber reinforced cement back boards, are separated by a foamed core and a stiffener. The resulting composite core is finished with a surface material that is bonded to the foamed core. The stiffness, thermal coefficient of expansion and resistance to hydration and dimensional stability with changes in humidity prevent debonding of the surface material from the composite core.
