Abstract: According to one aspect, a drive assembly for a drug delivery device is provided for. The drive assembly may comprise a housing (10A, 10B, 10C) having a proximal end (100P) and a distal end (100D), a piston rod (20) being axially displaceable and rotatable with respect to the housing (10A, 10B, 10C) between a first angular position and a second angular position, a drive member (30) being axially displaceable, and a rotational bias member (50) being operable to transfer a resilient bias to the piston rod (20). The drive assembly may be configured such that, for setting a dose, the drive member (30) is proximally axially displaceable with respect to the housing (10A, 10B, 10C) and the piston rod (20) from a rest position to a dose set position. When setting the dose, the piston rod (20) may be rotated in a first rotational direction and, subsequent to the rotation in the first rotational direction, rotated in a second rotational direction with respect to the housing and the drive member.

A first needle is fixed within the connecting body and a movable needle hub is operatively coupled to the connecting body. A needle guard is operatively coupled to the connecting body and a biasing member is positioned between the connecting body and needle guard. A second needle is fixed within the needle hub. A first cavity within the connecting body defines a reservoir containing at least one dose of a medicament. The reservoir configured for fluid communication with the first and the second needle. The reservoir comprises a bypass configured to allow medicament from the drug delivery device to bypass the reservoir and exit the second needle.

Abstract: The state of motion of a motor vehicle is indicated to a driver of a following vehicle by employing an array of lamps. The state of motion is determined by sensing vehicle velocity, deceleration being measured either directly via a transducer or being derived from measured velocity. When the subject vehicle is determined to be stationary, the lamps are illuminated in a time dependent sequence to produce an animated visual display in which the lamps are illuminated and selected pairs of lamps are sequentially de-actuated to provide a pattern cyclically moving outwardly from the center to both left and right ends of the array. The approach of the following vehicle to within a pre-set distance of the stationary vehicle is sensed and triggers a change in the display to a static visual display in which an outer pair of lamps remain illuminated. During deceleration, the level of deceleration is indicated by illuminating progressively more lamps with increasing deceleration.
