  • Publication number: 20250149111
Abstract: A method may include applying a protein sequence computation model to generate, based on an input protein sequence, a plurality of proposed protein sequences. A set of possible amino acid residues for each position in at least a portion of an output protein sequence may be identified based on the plurality of proposed protein sequences. A first protein structure having the output protein sequence may be generated by applying a protein structure computation model to select, for each position in at least the portion of the output protein sequence, an amino acid residue from a corresponding set of possible amino acid residues. The protein structure computation model may further determine the conformation of the amino acid residues selected for inclusion in the output protein sequence. In some cases, the first protein structure may be grafted onto a second protein structure to form a third protein structure.

  • Patent number: 12255888
Abstract: In various exemplary embodiments, a security continuity system allows users to continue accessing certain user accounts (e.g., email, calendar, contacts, documents, instant messaging, cloud storage, etc.) through alternate logon identity credentials that are automatically provisioned such as when a security event is detected or suspected. The alternate logon identity credentials may be temporary (e.g., just used during security continuity until the original user logon identity credentials can be secured such as by establishing a new password or by having the user select a new logon identity) or permanent (e.g., the alternate logon identity can become the user's new logon identity). Security continuity may be invoked manually (e.g., by the user or by an administrator) or automatically when certain conditions are detected (e.g., through detection of suspicious activities such as repeated user lockouts due to multiple failed logon attempts or upon detection of a successful breach by an attacker).

  • Publication number: 20250049682
Abstract: A coating, preferably a color coating, method for keratin fibers is described which includes three steps: activation, pretreatment and binding. The activation step includes one or both of a Praeparatur procedure and a Fundamenta procedure to produce modified fibers. The pretreatment step applies a pretreatment composition of at least a PTH alkoxysilane with PTH as a thiol, a protected thiol or a group complementarily reactive with thiol to the modified fibers to form pretreated fibers. The binding step applies a film forming composition to the pretreated fibers to form the color coating.

  • Patent number: 12184600
Abstract: Among other things, we describe techniques for encoding data that is included in electronic communications. In one aspect, a first electronic communication system sends, to an entity, a first email message that includes a Message-ID field including data that identifies an action to be carried out by a second electronic communication system. The first electronic communication system receives, from the entity, a second email message that includes an In-Reply-To field containing the data that identifies the action to be carried out by the second electronic communication system. The first electronic communication extracts the data from the In-Reply-To field in a message header of the first electronic communication. The second electronic communication system may be the same as the first electronic communication system, or may be an electronic communication system other than the first electronic communication system.

  • Patent number: 12149605
Abstract: Among other things, we describe techniques for carrying encoded data in a header field of an email message wherein the encoded data is homomorphically encrypted such that the encoded data is only interpretable by one or more authorized recipients and operable by any recipient. A recipient of such an email message (which may be the sender or another recipient) can derive an action to be carried out from the homomorphically-encrypted encoded data.

  • Publication number: 20240317616
Abstract: Systems and methods for treating water containing PFAS are disclosed. Plasma activated excited gas is encapsulated with nanobubbles in water comprising PFAS to be treated. Liquid-phase reaction of the PFAS with the encapsulated plasma activated excited gas at the air-water interface of the nanobubbles is promoted. The PFAS can be concentrated upstream of the plasma reactor. A foam fractionation process may be used in conjunction with the plasma reactor to facilitate PFAS removal.
